Other players avatars not showing up in Rift Application.
Dear Devs, My app has Rift and Quest support. I've created two applications in dashboard, one for Rift and one of Quest. I've also pasted the app IDs in the Platform and Avatars Settings file in Unity. Added a sample build to Rift application and Quest application and uploaded the build, added test users oculus email ID. The same oculus email ID is being used for the login inside Unity as well. I'm getting the blue default avatar instead of the user's avatar in the Rift Application. Please let me know how to resolve this. I've also added the Data Usage Checkup => Avatars, User Profile and User ID. Please let me know if anybody has resolved this issue.Solved3.8KViews1like11CommentsHow to properly upload and submit a build ?
Hi everybody, I am new here. I'm having a few errors when uploading builds to my chanel via Meta Quest Developer Hub. I got an error that simply said "API_ERROR", "A server error occurred. The request will be retried.". I was builded an .exe version and can play it on my windows computer. When I went to the build section on the web, I saw my application showing the uploaded build. But it hasn't been included in any chanel yet. I also used that build to move to production chanel. And sent a review request and am getting an error "VRC.Functional.1 - TEST BLOCKER - No build available to download". I'm wondering if my build has actually been pushed properly? When I click download on https://developer.oculus.com/manage, it only reloads that website. without receiving any download files. Can anyone tell me what error I'm getting? And how to solve it? Thank you very much.784Views0likes0CommentsRift to Quest
Hi! I have a question.. Today I have a Oculus rift, (the first gen) and I'm thinking about buying a Quest 2 instead. I have moved and cant play VR in my "office" so I have to move my pc to the livingroom just to play. So I think a Quest will be much better fit. But the thing is that I have bought all VR games in Steamstore.. Am I going to be able to play them with a Quest or do I have to rebuy every game from Oculus store..? (I dont want to move my pc every time I want to play..) Thanks!591Views0likes0CommentsOculus Quest / Rift Example Unity Project available on GitHub
So many people are having trouble with getting this going, I've started a simple example project. It's not complete yet -- I only just started it. But you're welcome to look at what I've done and how I did it. I intend to show how to get it working with a Quest and a Rift -- I don't own a Rift S, but I assume it's the same as a Rift, generally speaking. Again, let me say that I'm not finished. But you can see an early look here. https://github.com/Corysia/Unity-Oculus-Example3.9KViews4likes8Comments
