Quest 3 has no audio when connected to PC
I recently get the Quest 3, and for some reason I can't get the audio to come through my headset when it is connected to my PC using a link cable or AirLink. It shows as a device in the sounds settings and it is enabled in the audio Control Panel Playback section. I never had this problem on my Quest 2. I have updated the drivers, tried disabling the Nvidia High Definition Audio driver. Any help greatly appreciated! Note: This green audio bar next to the Oculus audio device stays at half-full whether the computer is playing or not. Not sure if that helpsSolved38KViews1like38CommentsVR should be fun, not frustrating - Steam VR PC Link problem
I am trying to build my VR (Quest 2) library by adding Steam VR games. Unfortunately, these games require a USB cable or 'air link' to run. I prefer the cable, so I bought a good quality - active - USB 3.x cable to connect my Quest 2 to my Windows 11 PC. Normally my procedure for playing a 'tethered' VR game on my quest 2 is this: 1. Plug the cable into my PC's USB 3.2 port and to the Quest 2. 1a) Power up the Quest 2 and wait it to boot up. 2. Start the Oculus app on the Windows 11 PC. Check that it recognized the Quest 2 headset 3. Start Steam. Select the VR game I want to play, then hit Play. 4. Put on Quest 2 headset. I see the game starting, but somewhere during game play, everything goes blank and I get the message 'pc disconnected'. So the first thing I did was to place the velcro cable management strap over the Quest 2 band so that it keeps the USB C cable in place. The connection feels good, and wiggling it during game play (when PC link is working) does not disconnect. The spontaneous disconnect appears to be a software/firmware glitch, and not a connector issue. It has occurred in multiple Steam VR games. I tried a Google search, and saw something about an alternate connection driver, but I wasn't in the mood to fiddle with the PC - I just wanted to enjoy some VR! Is there an alternate to Oculus Windows app when playing Steam VR games on the Quest 2? Thanks for your help Ethan_TXSolved23KViews3likes7CommentsQuest 3 Pink Line
Hello! I’ve been having an issue with the Quest 3 where after a while I see a pink line/bar that fills up half of each lens near the bottom. I’ve looked for a few fixes but can’t seem to find the right fix. I use it through SteamVR and some threads have said it’s VRAM issues but I’m using a 4090 and still getting it. Hoping someone else have had a similar issue and found a fix.2.5KViews1like9CommentsQuest 3 - Airlink freezing and stuttering/shaking after any small movements
I've recently bought a Quest 3 and it works fine in most games, however a couple of them seem to have a constant issue: After about 5-10 minutes of comfortable playing through Airlink the game would suddenly freeze and, upon waking up, the tracking becomes very shaky and extremely sensitive to the smallest of movements. Turning the headset off and on temporarily fixes the problem, but after a few seconds the image freezes again at which point the problem repeats up until the game is restarted. Turning off Asynchronous Spacewarp in the debug tool seemed to have fixed the issue completely in TWD Saints & Sinners, however it is still occuring in Into the Radius regardless if ASW is turned off or not19KViews4likes35CommentsOculus Rift S has gone green

Thanks in advance!Solved19KViews2likes31CommentsMeta Quest 3 no longer recognizes head tracking.
Hi guys I am here as desperate because my Meta Quest 3 started to give me this problem as per the title, I will tell you the story in more detail: I got the Meta Quest 3 new months ago and it has always worked perfectly, the other day I used it in PCVR with the cable as always and without any problems, before I turned it off I saw that out of nowhere a new item "Allow automatic power on when updating" had appeared under the item "Automatically update before power off", I didn't give it too much importance and unchecked as always and turned it off; I then put down the headset as usual which hasn't received a beating or anything these days, today I turned it back on and basically when I go into the home if I move my head above the view goes below and if I move my head below the view goes above (basically the head tracking doesn't work), the controllers are not recognized at all (but they flash and every 20 seconds they vibrate) and after a while the headset brings me back to a black screen asking me to try using hand tracking or the controllers if the problem persists (which is useless because they don't go for me). I have tried rebooting it many times, even going to the Boot Screen and clicking Boot Device, but nothing, it doesn't work. Also now when I turn it off (which I have to do forcibly), when I go to the power off menu, there is no longer the "Allow auto power on when updating" item I mentioned earlier, I don't want to have turned off the device while it was updating, or I don't know what else, even though I had checked the notifications and there was nothing updating. What can I do guys? I don't want to format it, it took me months to set it up just the way I liked it. I'm asking for your help, thank you all for those who have made it this far.Solved6.8KViews0likes14Commentswith the new update everything looks horrible I've been playing VR for years and foveated rendering

I'm waiting for my quest 2 to arrive and I'm just wondering how the latency is for most people is when playing wireless PC VR games through Virtual Desktop. I mostly got this headset for PC VR (since it's so cheap compared to other headsets) and to show people VR since it's so portable but i'm worried that the latency will interfere with the gameplay quality.20KViews0likes10Comments
