Questions regarding Bundles
I want to publish a Minigames collection and make the different Minigames accessible individually using DLCs. However I also want to publish a Bundle, where users can buy the entire collection (Party Edition) for a fixed price (~20$). As the game will be in Early Access for some time, the price as well as the content of the Party Edition Bundle will increase over time. How much can you modify an already published Bundle? Like for example in the beginning, when there are only 4 Minigames, the Bundle should be around 10$ and after some time I want to add 4 more Minigames and increase the Price to 20$. Probably gonna add even more and increase the price to 25$. Will players who have already bought the Bundle in the beginning (with only 4 Minigames back then) also have access to newly added Minigames? Also on the Steam Shop you have this bundle option called "complete the set", where players, who have already bought DLCs from the Bundle individually, will pay a lower price for the complete set, when they buy the Bundle. Does something like that also exist for Quest bundles? Sorry for all the questions but I didn't find any information on these topics on the docs and I can't create a Test Bundle before I publish my App.896Views0likes0CommentsHow will Meta handle Unity's proposed per-install fee?
Hello, I'm developing my App Lab game with Unity, and am rather concerned about Unity's proposed changes, especially as my app is free to download with IAPs. It means I have quite a high install volume, and relatively low ARPU. In the worst case, my app could incur more fees from Unity than it makes through IAP revenue. (I expect Gorilla Tag are facing a similar problem.) Does Meta have a response to this yet, and are there any plans in place for how the fees will be deducted? Unity says that charges will be taken from "the distributor" which I would presume is Meta. Would it be deducted from our revenue? Or would Unity come knocking on our doors? I hope Unity reverses course on this, but if not, I will be switching to Unreal for future VR development, so I hope Meta would also prioritise development tools for that engine if there is an exodus.749Views2likes0CommentsSome IAPs not uploading to Dev Dashboard via tsv file
Some IAPs within a tsv file are uploading to Oculus Dashboard and some aren't. All data within the tsv is formatted correctly. Using GearVR (Quest & Mobile) Upon saving I get the following error - GraphQL server responded with error 1357005: There was a problem with this request. We're working on getting it fixed as soon as we can. I can't find any mention of that error code anywhere Anyone experiencing the same? Any help would be appreciated!625Views0likes0Comments
