After factory reset for troubleshooting I can't pair back to meta app it's stuck
Devices having issues (meta quest 2) (Samsung galaxy s23 ultra) I did a factory reset as was recommended to fix the problem of being stuck at 90% when trying to stream to phone. I did a factory reset for being stuck at the pairing screen so I went back to boot menu did another reset then did a side loader update and issue was not fixed. On my meta app my headset is still registered so I can't input the code to pair the headset again. I have Uninstalled and reinstalled several times and as well cleared the cache and data in the app. I have restarted my phone and my blue tooth. When I try and pair a new device I get stuck at "allow permissions" but I have given this app every single permission. I go to manage profiles and am given error 1675012. Now, I try and go another way by accessing my account on the website and it says no device is found or registered with this account for some unknown reason but it's still connected through my meta app. I have a warranty that is still valid and transaction history. I have looked into how to fulfill my warranty but as a device isn't registered on the website it seems I can not do it. It seems as if this whole process is connivingly convoluted on purpose to inundate people through excessive confusing menus. Screenshots will be included of the error screensSolved1KViews1like13CommentsHorizon link not working
My Q3 was linking fine to my PC this afternoon, then literally an hour or two later, will not link. I'm using a usb 3.0 cable, it is in a USB 3 port, power management of USB port is set correctly. I get a notification saying 'Meta Quest Link isn't working correctly. Click here to check our support article'. There is no support article. I have restarted the headset and PC, repaired the Horizon app, logged out and back into the Horizon app, restarted the OVR service and I still can't get it to work. Anyone else having or had similar issues recently? earlier this week (October 18, 2025), my quest 2 headset has stopped appearing in file explorer and I cannot access it to get my photos, videos, or add mods to games. All other guides for fixing this issue are at least 3 years old and do not work as of 2025.317Views0likes3CommentsMeta Quest Pairing Issue
Anybody else having this issue where the headset shows as paired in the Meta Horizon app after a factory reset, but it’s NOT paired on the website at all? I’ve tried a lot of things and still couldn’t fix it. I reached out to support, but their solution was just to factory reset the headset again—which I’ve already done multiple times. I made sure to connect to a stronger Wi-Fi network, followed the factory reset process correctly, and even uninstalled and reinstalled the Meta Horizon app. Now I’m stuck on the pairing screen on the headset.Solved159Views1like4CommentsRTX 5060 Ti Stuck on loading screen Fix with Quest 2
So, I've had this problem when I got my new desktop. Which had the requirements to use the Meta Quest Link with the RTX 50 series. About 6 months of banging my head against the wall to figure out what was wrong (Meta Quest Support was less than helpful), I have finally found a solution to the infinite loading screen for 5060 Ti graphic cards. Thanks to Google Gemini: https://gemini.google.com/share/1685782c62af Basically you need to do is to turn off asynchronous spacewarp: 1. Open the Oculus Debug Tool (C:\Program Files\Oculus\Support\oculus-diagnostics\OculusDebugTool.exe). Or (C:\Program Files\Meta Horizon\Support\oculus-diagnostics\OculusDebugTool.exe). 2. Locate Asynchronous Spacewarp. 3. Change it from "Auto" to Disabled. 4. Go to the top menu: Service > Restart Oculus Service. After these steps you should be able to boot into the Horizon Link home screen (White Grid). The best explanation Gemini gave me as to why this was a problem; "the Meta software likely had a "handshake" bug where it tried to engage ASW unnecessarily during the initial loading phase. Because the 50-series architecture (Blackwell) handles frame generation differently than previous generations, the Quest 2 gets "confused" by the synthesized frames and hangs on those infinite dots." I hope this post gets the attention it needs. Because even with log files, tech support didn't know what caused problem.113Views0likes2CommentsI cannot sign into my account on my computer
I am trying to log into my meta account on my computer but it says the email or password is incorrect, however the email and password is correct, I have reset both several times, but it still says they are incorrect. I deleted the app and reinstalled it, but that didn't work, and I did the forgot password thing numerous times, but that is not working either. Please help if you can.Solved142Views0likes6Comments
