Bobber Bay shop not working
I've been trying to get the purchase screen in the shop to pop up but have yet to get it to work. I've been playing the game for about a week and have caught most of the fish at Bobber bay but can't access the store to buy anything. Anyone know of a way to get past this? I see it's been an issue for some time now and I know it works for some people.1.3KViews5likes65CommentsMeta Quest 3 flickering white pixels
Had my meta quest 3 for a few days been playing primarily asgard's wrath 2. I had noticed on occasion that I would see these random lines of white pixels flickering on loading screens and occasionally in dark scenes.. It didn't seem to do it that much.. Welp.. Downloaded Into the Radius today and in dark parts of the game it is constant white flicking pixels.. I've noticed others are having this issue. And I saw where and admin said others need to make their own threads about this.. I'm affected by it too! It sucks. Really enjoying vr.. But this is totally immersion breaking and needs to be fixed.. I'm debating sending back my headset.. Is this really thay wide spread of an issue??10KViews6likes60CommentsQuest 3 V81 link cable not working, another one
Hi Since the last V81 update, the cable link is not working. I tried everything, Turn public beta test on, reinstall the link app, factory reset on the Q3, update all drivers in my pc, update BIOS in my pc, update windows, new cable, several ubs c ports on my pc, and nothing works, absolutely nothing... This is beyond frustrating, everyone once in a while pcvr is broken. I know it's not the end of the world, but people spend money on these things expecting them to work I hope Meta is taking notes and fixes this bug asap Any help/tips on how to solve this will be appreciated1.2KViews9likes68CommentsMeta Quest 3 Suddenly Not Connecting to PC
I’ve been using my Meta Quest 3 with my PC for a while now without any issues. I was able to copy files back and forth between the headset and the PC just fine. But recently, it suddenly stopped connecting. When I plug in the USB cable, I still get the notification bubble on the headset asking me to allow access. I press it as usual, but nothing shows up on the PC — no drive, no device, nothing. Here’s what I’ve tried so far: factory reset both the headset and the PC Tried multiple USB cables (including the one that used to work) Verified that my phone and other devices connect to the PC without any issues Still, the Quest 3 won’t show up on the computer. Has anyone else run into this? Any ideas on what might be causing it or how to fix it? Thanks in advance!30Views0likes1CommentLooking for MSDS for Oculus Meta Quest 3
Hi all, We need the MSDS/SDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) for Oculus Meta Quest 3 for logistics/import compliance. Has anyone successfully obtained this document from Meta before? - Which channel did you use (support ticket, enterprise support, email, etc.)? - Did the document include battery/hazardous materials details? - Any reference number or contact you can share? Thanks in advance!27Views0likes2CommentsQuest 3 start up issues
I'm on my third quest 3 (the second in as many months) and something isn't right. When I put it on, Sometimes I see the battery level screen. When I press the power button for 3-4 seconds, it may or may not do anything. It may show the battery level again and then go black, OR it may show the horizonOS screen for a few seconds and then go black again, OR it may actually start up. Once it has started u and I go to a game (any game) it has a habit of going to a grey screen. It doesn't do this every time, but when it does I'll tap the power button and the screen goes black. Then I have to hold the power button down until it powers down, then I try to start it up again. Both of the units I've had in the last two months have done this. Basically, the headset doesn't always turn completely on when the power button is pressed for 3-4 seconds. In addition, a couple of the games I play are acting strange, for example, in Walkabout mini golf the club disappears when I try to putt the ball and reappears when I move it away from the hole. In ForeVR bowling I can pick up a ball but when I try to throw it, the ball doesn't release. Those are the only two that I have tried so far. Hello everyone. I received the Meta Quest 3 headset on October 12th. Launched, updated the software. And I started playing games while connected via Oculus Link to my laptop. On October 12, 13, everything was just great. Half Life Alyx has a fantastic level of graphics, a stable frame rate, there was not a single glitch. This morning I picked up the helmet again and noticed that the image quality had become terrible. Even in the lobby menu, it's terrible. There is no clarity of the image, the effect of a ladder and ripples is especially noticeable on the lines. I launched the same Half Life ALyx, and it was a terrible soap. Worse than in Quest 2. Also, while playing Blade and Sorcery, I noticed that the frame rate dropped. Although in the settings it is worth "raising the frame rate to 120 so that where possible". Changing the settings of the frame rate, screen resolution in the Meta-application did not give results. Resetting to factory settings via the Meta application also did not give results. Resetting to factory settings by pressing the off key and adjusting the volume on the helmet then also did not give results, the image is still of poor quality. The lenses are clean, there are no stains. I attach 2 screenshots, but I can assure you that the quality in the screenshots is better than what I actually see. In fact, the reflection in the mirror and the palm tree look much worse than in the screenshots, they are very blurred and pixelated.Solved136KViews9likes92CommentsButtons Unresponsive in Games (Work Fine in Menus)
Hello! The buttons on both controllers have stopped responding when I'm in games. However, they work perfectly in the home menu, settings, browser, and other non-game areas (e.g., navigating menus or the store). Re-pairing controllers and factory reset did not fix the issue. Any advice? P.S. Yes, it's v.81.Solved62Views0likes7CommentsQuest 3 battery drainage when not in use.
If quest 3 staff read this please read it properly and not give me an automated reply I work in IT I don't want automated or generic support I'm not an idiot. I’ve been dealing with a persistent and widespread issue affecting the Meta Quest 3 headset and controllers related to severe battery drain, both during use and while powered off. For several months, I’ve noticed that even when the headset is fully charged and then turned off properly, the battery depletes at an unusually high rate. After leaving the headset unused for approximately one month, the charge drops from 100% to around 5%. This is extremely frustrating, especially since my previous Quest 2 headset could hold a full charge for months without any noticeable drain, and its controllers maintained more than 60% charge even after extended periods of inactivity. I have thoroughly reviewed all available settings to disable features that might keep the headset active in the background or prevent it from entering sleep mode. I’ve also turned off auto-updates and background services, yet the issue persists. Despite these precautions, the headset still performs auto-updates and consumes power unnecessarily when it should remain idle. To rule out individual hardware faults, I tested two separate Quest 3 headsets in my household both exhibit the same problem. Additionally, several friends and family members who own the Quest 3 report identical behaviour, confirming this is not an isolated defect but a broader design or firmware issue. I’ve kept the firmware updated in hopes that Meta would address the problem, but there has been no improvement. Each update seems to introduce additional complications while failing to resolve the ongoing battery drain I hate the fact the headset will auto update when I have that turned off. At this point, it’s clear that the Quest 3 suffers from a serious power management flaw that needs urgent attention from Meta’s engineering and software teams. The level of battery depletion while the device is off is unacceptable for a headset and significantly undermines its usability. It feels like the setting is a lie when you turn off the device its like turning off is a fake sleep mode where you device is in fact still on and updating even if you disable.28Views0likes2Comments
