Can't redeem Virtual Desktop referral credit
Hi, I'm having an issue with a referral for the app Virtual Desktop. Over 14 days ago, someone used my referral link to purchase the app. Now I can see the "Referral Accepted" status on my end in the mobile app. However, I cannot redeem the 2€. I reached out to Meta Support via email to resolve this. They are now asking for the recipient's full name and email address to verify the transaction. The person who accepted the link doesn't want to share their personal data with me to pass along to support (and frankly, I wouldn't want as well). All I know is that they properly purchased the app and the discount was applied. They didn't refund it. I know it’s a small amount, but I'd still like to sort it out. Has anyone else experienced this specific loop with support? Any tips on how to proceed? Screenshot from app:
meta quest 3 referral credit expired?
Hello, I didnt realize my quest 3 referral bonus had an expiration date. It apparently expired Nov 30. I was dealing with a family matter from early oct until just now so everything else basically slipped from my mind. I had ~$24 left in credit. Is there any way to get an extension to that? Thanks,
Quest 3S referral accepted but no wallet credit received
My friend accepted my Quest referral link before purchasing a brand-new Meta Quest 3S. This was his first-ever Quest headset. He then purchased the headset and completed activation, but neither of us received the referral wallet credit. It has now been more than 7 days since activation, and the referral credit has still not appeared in either Meta Wallet. Could you please review this referral and apply the wallet credit manually if everything checks out? Thank you for your help.No setting up a referral option
I got myself the Meta Quest 3 last week. I was told that I will have the referral option, which will allow me to earn credits to purchase a game. I have been searching for how to do it, and I've just found out that there should have been an option from the beginning. Is there a way to fix this and make my account referral possible?
Referrals in Unsupported Countries
Am i able to redeem my US friend's referral link if i live in an unsupported country? (Brazil) I have a friend that lives in the US that plays VRChat with me (i'm on PC), and he said that if i bought a headset and set it up with his referral link we both would get some credit on the Meta Horizons Store, i bought a headset, and it arrived today, but i couldn't follow him because i live in Brazil and his referral link doesn't work, i've been searching for this information for about an hour with no satisfying answer so i made this post, i already activated my headset without it because it wasn't worth the hassle, but if it can help someone else with the same question then i'll be satisfied.
App referrals and utm codes?
Does the meta app manager / developer dashboard support referrals/utm codes? For example, https://www.meta.com/en-gb/experiences/section/7377313005632169/?ref=uploadvr.com I see uploadvr as the source. Is there a way for me to create/manage/track my own referrals or utm codes so I know who is referring my app?
