Can't redeem Virtual Desktop referral credit
Hi, I'm having an issue with a referral for the app Virtual Desktop. Over 14 days ago, someone used my referral link to purchase the app. Now I can see the "Referral Accepted" status on my end in the mobile app. However, I cannot redeem the 2€. I reached out to Meta Support via email to resolve this. They are now asking for the recipient's full name and email address to verify the transaction. The person who accepted the link doesn't want to share their personal data with me to pass along to support (and frankly, I wouldn't want as well). All I know is that they properly purchased the app and the discount was applied. They didn't refund it. I know it’s a small amount, but I'd still like to sort it out. Has anyone else experienced this specific loop with support? Any tips on how to proceed? Screenshot from app:
Unable to accept referral link
I just purchased my first Meta Quest 3s and I tried to use a link a friend sent me but I get the message : Unable to accept referral There was an issue accepting this referral. You may not be eligible because the country or region is not supported. Im located in Mexico and this is my first meta quest.
