I am having trouble with connecting PC and Quest 2, any suggestions?
Hi, I recently bought a new Oculus Quest 2 and tried to connect it directly to my PC for development, the problem is I cannot connect my PC with Quest 2 via its included Type C cable, it doesn't show me any messages, or alert box, instead it just charging, I searched every possible solutions and still didn't work. In my PC, I also can't find Oculus device in device manager even connected with usb. The quest 2 has not arrived yet and I should have set up my Dev account when I got it. I was planning to make a game with Unreal but now I've heard that if I don't verify my account soon I will be locked out. In a racing game, for example, it would be cool to be able to view the leaderboard in the Oculus dashboard and have the score show as times rather than scores. Right now, as far as I know, they must be represented as just an integer. e.g. the time 1:30:48 must be converted to a positive integer such as 13048, which is much harder for users to understand. Is there any way to change this? Additionally, there is currently the ability to deep-link from the Leaderboard to the game. However, the most specific this gets is on a Leaderboard basis, so you couldn't, for example, challenge a specific user's ghost data from there since there's no way to send dynamic metadata based on which player's leaderboard entry is selected.1.6KViews0likes4CommentsQuest Unity app is getting crashed while recording

Hi, I have exported my project for Oculus Quest from unity. After installing an APK to Quest, if i open application was not opening, its taking so much time and then its showing some message and crashed. If i open 2nd or 3rd time application is getting open. Hello, I'm a bit frustrated that our pitch for the Quest is being rejected, without any feedback. I can't imagine which aspects of our game are causing the rejection. We've been working for many months on a massive game, that has an enormous following. The game is called Flight Unlimited, and we released it for mobile about 6 years ago. The game has over 5 Million downloads world wide. Our plan was to surprise our fans by bringing the next iteration of Flight Unlimited to the Quest. It's the perfect platform for flight simulators. I can't imagine why our pitch has been rejected. We have a massive following for the game, and it's a perfect fit technology wise for the Quest. Is there someone I can speak with to figure out where we're going wrong with our pitch? We have a great deal of work already invested in this game. We never imagined that it wouldn't be approved. Sorry for posting this here, but if we can't get this approved for the Quest, we're in big trouble. I can't seem to get in touch with the Quest review team directly for feedback. Hi I use Unity 2018.41f1 with newes Oculus Integration loaded. I built so i can grab a cube and move it around and at the same time move around with the other controller joystick. BUT if I move the cube to near to my body - The FPC with the grabbing hand is very fast lifted up or down or forward or backward. What did I do: I minimized the Radius of the OVRPlayerController. This helps a bit but any movement near to the chest make uncontrollable reactions. I tried to 1) vary the size of the PlayerController more - No help 2) Switched of Hmd Resets Y or Rotate Y - No Help 3) switched to higher Unity Version 2019.1.4f1 - NO HELP Any Idea what can be my mistake?
