HDMI Keeps disconnecting and freezing the RIft
This has been happening for about a month. I'm using a CV1. The rift will stay on for about 10 min, and then it freezes up. When it freezes up the software tells me the HDMI isn't connected, all my bluetooth devices get disconnected and have to reconnect. Then the rift will reconnect without me having done anything, and this just repeats. Every 10 -15 min, even if the oculus isn't being used, it will disconnect and reconnect, freezing out my bluetooth. It unpairs my xbox one controller every time it happens. I just got a new USB dongle, so it's not that. I have tried swapping out the extension HDMI cable I'm using, didn't fix it. I got an HDMI to displayport adapter, didn't fix it. Uninstalled and reinstalled the Oculus software, didn't fix it. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated. Thanks!
Headset not connecting to HDMI
I bought my rift earlier today and have gone through the complete setup and all the USB sensors are connected, but the headset still will not recognize the HDMI connection. The connection on the headset is firmly plugged in. Using the Oculus site, I have confirmed my graphics card meets requirements as well as running through every step with my drivers. The cord under the foam part of headset is also connected but still not working. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
HDMI & USB 3.0 not found!
My sensors are connected and work fine! But the Oculus itself won't connect. I have tried reinstalling the program, updating my drivers and changing the USB ports but it doesn't seem to have any effect what so ever. My rig: GeForce GTX 1060 6GB GeForce Game Ready Driver: v.417.35 Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-6400 CPU @2.70GHz 8GB RAM SSD 128GB, HDD 1TB The HDMI port worked well for my other pc-screen, so the problem isn't in the port. With my first attempt when I got the Rift all went well with the connection, until few minutes after, it gave me an error and it took me back to the connecting page. I Have tried unplugging the HDMI wire couple times, some times it shows it's connected but few seconds or a minute later it loses connection again! I have had the Oculus Rift for 2 days for now and nothing seem to work for me. If anyone has a solution to this problem please share it with the community! Thank you! so I'm having issues with the HDMI connection with my oculus rift to my pc. I've restarted my pc and I've also uninstalled the oculus app and reinstalled the app having the same issue where it doesn't connect to the HDMI. I checked the connection between the headset and the pc and they're both plugged in all the way
DK2 Not detecing Headset HDMI/USB after updating to newest drivers
My DK2 has been working well since I got it. Recently I went to play a game and it wasnt being detected in my dk2 so I opted to uninstall and update drivers. I cannot however get past the "Connect Your Rift Headset and Oculus Sensor" They just keep spinning. I see the blue light on the senor and if I load a game the light on my headset turns on but if I put on the headset I see something like "Oculus is not setup, please continue install" I have tried disconnecting and reconnecting and doing fresh installs.
