New Rift S USB not working :(
I just got my Rift S and I tried setting it up but I'm stuck on the Connect Your Headset screen. I connected my Rift S to every port I have on my PC including USB 2.0 and 3.0! However the ring just keeps spinning (IMAGE 1 TO SEE) I don't think it's my PC's fault because when I go to device manager the Rift S shows up (IMAGE 2 TO SEE) If anyone could give me a solution for this it would be amazing. I have already talked to Oculus Support and they haven't gotten back to me 2 days later. My specs are: RTX 2060 EVGA, Ryzen 2600x, and ROG STRIX B450-F, and 16GB of DDR4 Ram - all drivers updated Thank you!
Will Oculus Rift S connected through a USB 3.1 Type-C adaptor
I'm interested in an ASUS ROG Strix Scar G531GW 15.6 Inch laptop which has a "USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C with Display Port 1.4". Please if anyone have experience with connecting Rift s through USB Type-C let me know and if it works good or not?!
Brand new Rift S sensor check issues
My Rift S I purchased for black friday arrived a few hours ago and I have been having some seriously frustrating problems. First of all the oculus app it self is acting very weird with the majority of the time I just get stuck on the loading screen watching the circle endlessly load. The setup is a whole different story. I don't know if theres anything wrong with my USB or HDMI ports but it took the oculus software literally 10 whole minutes just to recognize that I had plugged them in for the first time. The sensor part of the setup is where I found myself at a dead end. The sensor check has been running for approximately 40 minutes now and its still trying to "check sensors". I've searched for hours upon hours already looking through threads with people discussing their sensor issues and have found no solution that has worked for me. At this point im starting to question whether or not my Rift S is faulty. I already enabled camera access for windows and completely reinstalled a fresh copy of the software multiple times... If anyone has any solutions or ideas PLEASE leave them down below.
