Meta, Please Fix Meta Store
Do you know what this super long image is? This is the list when I sort by "Newest" in "Brawse All Games" on Meta Horizon App. This is sooooooooooooooooooooooo bad it brings tears to my eyes. I have to scroll and load over 20 times to reach the actual newest game (red circle one)!!! š¤Ŗ This isn't because there are a ton of crappy gorilla games, but because it shows even unreleased games. Meta devs, ARE YOU SERIOUS??? Have you never considered usability? Someone might say, why not just look at "New Releases" section? Unfortunately, there are many new games that aren't displayed in "New Releases" section. Not only crappy gorilla games. Even properly made games don't show up!!! šæ What a terrible store. Meta, display new games in New Release section!!! Even if game devs put in a lot of effort to create their game, if it's not listed in New Release section, it's less likely to be seen by people who don't know about the game. This means lower sales. If there is no profit, developers will leave. And lower sales means lower revenues for Meta. Who exactly is this store made for? Coming soon & Pre-order games have their own section. "Newest" in "Brawse All Games" should only show games that have been released. If there are far more games being released than there are now, are you going to make us scroll 100 times to check new games? š¤Ø And when Meta fix broken search function? The store's bad usability and glitches have been pointed out countless times since old days. What on earth are Meta devs doing? It seems like they're reducing game sales and Meta's profits by broken store. Before selling hardware at a huge loss, why not try building a great store?
Game Gift Card button missing
Iām dealing with a persistent issue with one of the games on my Meta Quest account ā The Walking Dead. When I click the āWiÄcejā (āMoreā) button, the key icon that should allow me to redeem the full game code simply doesnāt appear. Iāve already provided clear evidence in my native language UI to Meta Support, but they are not cooperating or offering a solution. Iām requesting that my demo account be cleared or that the cached data marking the demo as āplayedā be removed. This problem has been reported by other users on Reddit, yet it still hasnāt been addressed by Meta. The button is still missing in those games, whereas the other has it Moreover, when I have entered game page without logging into account, the button appears (I have tried to click it and then logging in, but the issue still prevents me to paste the game gift code) Has anyone here managed to work around this issue and successfully redeem a game code after playing the demo? Any help would be appreciated
Getting the message "Request not completed" when trying to make any purchase on my Meta Quest 3s
I am trying to purchase the game "Plastic Battlegrounds" on my Meta Quest 3s, but everytime I try to purchase it, I get an error message saying, "Request not completed. A problem occurred when trying to complete your request. This can be caused by entering incorrect information or trying to complete an unauthorised action." I have talked to multiple people at Meta and still have not had this issue resolved, I even got an email this morning telling me that I can use my payment account again just for me to get the same error message. Is there anything I need to do to fix this error?
"Join Horizon+" button replaces free trial download option in store app
Games that support the 30-minute trial feature generally show two options in the store: "Free trial", and the purchase button. However, when a game is also available on Horizon+, the Free Trial option is replaced with a "Get with Horizon+" button. Compare the pages for Moss II and Swarm, which both have a free trial but which cannot be accessed for Swarm: The mobile Meta Horizon app has the same problem. There is a workaround available: going to the store page on a PC web browser still shows the free trial button, which successfully installs to my headset. Still, anything that requires taking off the headset and using a separate device is a minor annoyance. It would be nicer to have a way to download free trials on the headset itself.
I can't ask for permission on age restricted games it just won't load
I recently wanted to play the Game Bonelab on my quest 2 ! My parents are totally fine with me playing 18+ games since I myself am 17 and turning 18 soon. However my account is entirely restricted for 18+ games ! I already set up the parental controls with my momās Account to disable the function and give me full access to the entire catalogue ! However, whenever my mom disables the restriction, the option is immediately re-enabled when you leave the menu ! My phone app got spammed with āyour restrictions have been disabledā notifications, however the changes never apply ! I also am unable to even send an approval notification for any purchases overall, so there is absolutely no button to even press ! Well, now my Mom gifted me the game over her account, because we thought this maybe worked better. But the activation code just gets rejected with the same āyou arenāt 18 yetā responseā¦ What can i do ? I have full approval of my parents as I said beforeā¦ We followed all the guides on the websites, doing everything step by step. Websites donāt work either, we tried the Website on Desktop and also via Mobile Browserā¦
