Quest 3 unstable network.
After about 2 minutes of stable gameplay, network latency starts to spike, causing the image to freeze for split seconds. I've tried multiple Wi-Fi networks, but it hasn't helped, even setting the bitrate to 10mbps still gives me the same spikes. If I completely turn off Wi-Fi on the Quest 3 and turn it back on, the network stabilizes for a short while, but after a few minutes, the spikes return. Is there any way to fix this ? This never happened on my Quest 2, which I used just a week ago. If I turn off the 802.1ax band, it's a bit better and by that I mean it doesn't freeze everytime I move my head, but again, after some minutes it becomes worse, even with a turned off ax band, I can use 200mbps but after that, stutters begin and I have to turn it down to around 80 and it still freezes, tho a lot less rarely and could be tolarsted in low intensity games. Tldr Ax band on: stable first 2 min of gameplay, after that it stutters heavily even at 10mbps Ax band off: 200mbps fine for some time, but it starts to stutter and I have to turn it down to 80 and it still stutters a bit. Turning the wifi of the quest 3 off and on from quick settings fixes the stutters for around 2 minutes and it all begins all over again.70Views0likes3Comments
