CRITICAL BUG: Location stuck for 20+ days led to device loss - Meta View App/Firmware Issue
Hi everyone, I’m reporting a critical software failure regarding the "Find My" / Location feature on my Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarer (Firmware v. 123.0.0.264.1) paired with an iPhone 16. My glasses have been lost, and the locator has been "frozen" at my home address for the last 27 days. I have clear evidence that this is a software bug and not a battery issue: Proof of Use: I have photos and videos saved in my Meta View app taken in different cities during the last 20 days. Sync Failure: While I was traveling and using the glasses, the location never updated; it remained stuck at my initial home location despite the glasses being powered on and connected to my iPhone 16. The Result: Because the advertised tracking feature failed to update while the device was active, I am now unable to recover my glasses. I bought these specifically for the tech features, and the software failed me when I needed it most. Has anyone else experienced their location getting "stuck" despite active use?
