Two factor authentication impossible to set up- cant contact support
trying to set up two factor authentication on my account for access to much needed quest developer settings, only to find that meta doesn't know how to send a simple text message and that their support team built a literal freaking loop into their website to make them impossible to contact- if someone could explain to me how I can call a real person at meta who will understand me better than a machine I would really appreciate it.Cannot Add New User to Release Channel (Meta email vs. Oculus email?)
Hello, we are developers of a VR app. When we tried to add a new Meta account email to our app's Release Channel on Oculus Developer (https://developer.oculus.com/), we got this message: "We couldn't find anyone with the Oculus email." This email is a newly-created Gmail that has just signed up for a Meta account on https://auth.meta.com/. This email is not a Facebook account. Did something went wrong, or is there a step missing? I thought by registering a Meta account, this email is already an Oculus account.
Unable to add additional account to quest pro
Not able to connect the quest pro to neither mobile app nor quest developer hub. All the required settings are enabled including developer mode and the device gets recognised on the Developer hub but doesn't connect . The Only issue that I see is two different accounts are logged into the quest pro and quest developer hub...but both are developer accounts. And previously in quest and quest2 there was an option to add additional accounts. I don't see that option in quest pro. Arbor xr (If that matters) is installed on this quest pro for device management but I can exit out of it and use the device as a regular one.Platform settings in Unity takes the wrong credentials
Hello there, In Unity, the Oculus Platform settings state that the credentials used are these from the Oculus application. Looks like this is not the case for me, and I'm not able to resolve the situation so far. I reinstalled the Oculus desktop app, I used that "Restart Oculus" feature from the desktop app in the Beta section, deleted the plateform settings and letting Unity regenerate these, still somehow connected to the wrong account. What am I supposed to do ? Thank you.
