Transfering Games to Other Meta Account Profile
Hello I have bought Meta Quest 2 Oculus with three game from a person. The owner has his own account, with his own games. As I have bought the Oculus from him, I need to have access to his games and I don´t want to use his account because,now, the Oculus Meta Quest 2 is mine. My iPhone app says it found the headset, but the headset does not display the 5 digit code needed to complete the pairing. Instead my Quest 3 only offers the accounts that already are already set up in it. Hi Ive just bought a new meta quest 2 and have set everything up verified my email. Then when I go to work.meta.com/device as instructed with the headset. I enter the code and enter my email then I get this error it looks like there isn't an account associated with that email address. You entered: **************@gmail.com. Please check your details and try again. Hi, I know the answer may already be in the forum in some form based on what I've already read but there are so many permutations on this issue I want to be sure I get the right answer for my specific situation. My son setup his quest 3 with his meta account. I presume this makes him the "admin" for this device. Since then I have setup my own account and set it as a supervisor/parent account. It's not clear if my son remains the 'admin' for this headset or if it's me now that I'm supervising his account. 1st question: is it likely that my son is still admin on this headset? We've both been able to log in and use the headset with both our accounts. 2nd question: i want to buy a new app (bonelab) that my son wants. Should I purchase this through his (assuming he is still the admin) account or my account? I want to ensure we are both able to play the game on the headset. Some of my reading indicates I should use the admin account and enable app sharing to be able to do this? Is this correct? 3rd question: can I change my account to be the "admin" account, rather than my son's, so i can manage and share all future purchases? Thank you. I recently wanted to play the Game Bonelab on my quest 2 ! My parents are totally fine with me playing 18+ games since I myself am 17 and turning 18 soon. However my account is entirely restricted for 18+ games ! I already set up the parental controls with my mom‘s Account to disable the function and give me full access to the entire catalogue ! However, whenever my mom disables the restriction, the option is immediately re-enabled when you leave the menu ! My phone app got spammed with „your restrictions have been disabled“ notifications, however the changes never apply ! I also am unable to even send an approval notification for any purchases overall, so there is absolutely no button to even press ! Well, now my Mom gifted me the game over her account, because we thought this maybe worked better. But the activation code just gets rejected with the same „you aren‘t 18 yet“ response… What can i do ? I have full approval of my parents as I said before… We followed all the guides on the websites, doing everything step by step. Hi there, I registered my Meta Quest 3 at 9th of September to my Meta Account. Until now it is NOT visible at https://www.meta.com/my/devices/ . This is very bad, as you cant use the Support and ask them about it und also you cant get help on other issues. I am wondering because at https://auth.meta.com/settings/my/devices/ it is registered and visible (even with the serial number) on the same account. I also bought already two apps in the Meta Horizon store. For me it is a very annoying situation because I don't know how to get help. Someone has an idea what I can do about that? I recently got a 3S for Christmas and when I tried to access Worlds through the device it wouldn't let me saying it's unavailable. Then I tried it on the mobile app and it said that my account is restricted for violating several rules. It told me to check my email and there was none. I checked my account standing and it says that it is perfectly fine. I talked to the little AI helper but it's telling me to do things that are literally impossible like submitting an appeal when there is no option to do so.
