Our game taken down from Meta Horizon Store right after the release. Need help!
Hey everyone, we just released our game Graffism on Wednesday, and 15 mins after release users started to report that they purchased the app but cant access, cant find in their libraries, and many of them also have an error while purchasing and made multiple purchases (some of them charged more than 3 times!) Then we try to get in touch with support, they reply really slow like 1-2 mails in a day, then our game is taken off from the store and now its not available. Our release events cancelled, users are mad (only a few of them has an access to the game and play smoothly), and our reputation is getting harmed badly. So i need anyone who have similar experience to tell me what can we do, how we can get quick help and who we can reach. Any help will be appreciated. Hi there, We have a VR project, which requires us to use 20-40 Quest 2s and a mobile hotspot device for a local network. Our project consists of several .apk files installed into our devices, and we use MQDH to send adb scripts so we can launch them or return home, using the Local Network the hotspot device provides. The apps need to launch simultaneously or with minimal lag. However, MQDH requires a USB connection to turn on adb-over-wifi, and also if the connection is lost somehow, we need to re-establish it, not so reliable. How can we overcome this? We just need a local network with several Quest 2s and a computer/tablet/phone to launch apps wirelessly. I know there are some apps for that but they require us rooting the devices, which we do not want. Any help? Thanks.2KViews0likes2CommentsWhich VR headset has the highest FoV?
When I got my first VR headset, it was the meta quest 2, and having pretty much no experience with VR, I expected the FoV to be as big as the human eye's FoV. When I put the headset on, I felt a huge disappointment, as I looked at a screen with black bars around it, basically wide binoculars. It really takes away the immersion for me, and I haven't touched my VR headset in about a year. Are there any VR headsets that come close to the human eye's FoV? Are these VR headsets any good?1.1KViews0likes2CommentsPing data overlay
Hi. Fairly new to development and I am stuck with a project. I am trying to develop a program that displays Network information to the user (ping, jitter, packet loss etc.) . I would like this to be able to run over any 3d application in real time Similar to how OVRMetric displays headset information. Any documentation or assistance would greatly be helpful.804Views0likes1Commentvirtual desktop + voicemeeter?

Hey all, for all the incredible tech that went into Google Earth VR, I'm always a little disappointed when I just into Street view and realize it's just a 360 projection. Does anybody know of a way to get a stereoscopic view of streets? I heard there was something like VisoPlaces or Rendever, but it seems rather complicated to get up and running o.805Views1like1CommentLooking for 3d CAD files of Meta Quest 3 Controller.
Hi everyone, I'm Felix from Haply Robotics. We specialize in creating haptic force feedback technology that brings a tangible sense of touch to VR experiences. Our work is all about pushing the boundaries of what's possible in virtual reality, and you can see some of our projects at Haply.co. We’ve had great success in integrating our tech with the Meta Quest 2 controllers by designing an adapter to connect the controller to our robot. I was pretty annoying to use the mesh models to do a good job at this. We are now trying to do the same for the Meta Quest 3. To make this happen, we're in need of the surface or solid models of the Quest 3 controllers, anything usable in CAD, so no mesh ideally. This would significantly accelerate our design process and ensure seamless compatibility with the latest Quest technology. I’m reaching out to this community in hopes of connecting with someone from Meta who can assist us with this or someone who could share those files. If anyone can point me in the right direction or provide the contact of someone who can help, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for reading, and I’m looking forward to any guidance or connections you can offer! Felix2.4KViews0likes2CommentsHow to run my Unity app in Kiosk mode on the consumer quest 2?
I want to build a simple app that runs in a kiosk mode style on the consumer quest 2. I know companies like ArborXR can do this (https://support.arborxr.com/article/69-enable-kiosk-mode-on-devices) But how are they able to run their app on the quest 2 in kiosk mode? What magic sauce are they using to do this?1.8KViews2likes4CommentsPre-Existing Kotlin Android App - Unable to upload without Oculus SDK
Hi, I have an existing android application written in kotlin which I wish to upload to the quest store. I have built and run the application on a headset locally and it all works perfectly. Upon uploading to the store i get the error "* Oculus SDK not found or older than 1.0." The app does not include the Oculus SDK or similar as it is not needed. It does not take advantage of any headset specific features and is just your standard 2d app. Is bundling the sdk in required to upload to the store? If so is there documentation on how to do so with an existing kotlin app as all the documentation is largely around apps containing native code and doesn't provide clear guidance on this use case. I've considered grabbing the OpenXR samples and smashing that together with the existing app. Is this a reasonable approach? It seems over the top especially for an app that won't require the SDK (for now). Thanks, Nathan927Views1like2Comments
