Quest Pro controllers go to sleep too quickly.
Both my partner and I have Quest Pros. We AirLink them to our PCs and play VRChat that way. However, we've both noticed that if we stop moving our hands for only about 10 to 15 seconds the controllers seem to go into a sleep mode which causes our characters in VR's arms to drop straight down to their sides. We can wake the controllers back up by wiggling them a bit but it's quite annoying and jarring to have your arms constantly fall to your sides. It's especially annoying when you're using one controller to scroll through a menu and the other goes to sleep causing the game to enter into one controller mode and then the controller you were using to scroll a menu now moves your character so the menu closes and your character starts moving in some direction. I have looked all over but do not see a way to adjust how frequently the controllers go to sleep when not being moved. I've also tried factory resetting both the headset and the controllers.Solved11KViews7likes21CommentsConfirm pairing code not showing up on PC side Meta Quest Link
Whenever I go to air link my 3s to my computer it tells me I need to pair my headset (which I had already done) to my computer, but the only thing is nothing pops up on the Meta Quest Link app on my computer besides the blue bar asking me if I want to set my headset up. (as can be seen in the picture) And when I click "set up" it takes me to a screen telling me to choose which connection method I want to go with, I choose air link, and it gives me the steps on how to enable air link nothing more than that.Solved791Views1like7CommentsUnable to pair refurbished Quest 3 bought on Amazon
Hi, I have followed the troubleshooting guide and attempted most of the things including factory reset, different WiFi networks, disabled private relay and ensuring Bluetooth connection works. The device is detected but when the pairing code has been entered the only info I get that it fails to pair. Is it possible that this refurbished Quest 3 has been locked somehow and how do I unlock it or is it returning it the only option I got? Anyone else with similar experience of these issues? Thanks in advance!65Views0likes7Commentsinfinite loading issue.
This may be awkward since I'm using a translator. I'm a Korean VR safety education content creator using Quest 3. I purchased a PC to install and run this content. After installing the meta program and connecting it, I'm stuck in an infinite loading screen. The screen isn't freezing or crashing. PC info i5-13400F 16GB RAM RTX 5060 8GB 니다. First, I noticed that the 'Beta' menu has disappeared from the Meta Link app. The issue I am encountering involves a masking misalignment between 3D content and the real-world background in Passthrough mode. Specifically, there is an offset where a black silhouette protrudes upwards above the content. I am aware that PC Link Passthrough is primarily intended for debugging purposes. However, this is a critical issue for us because our main content relies heavily on this feature. Is there any solution or workaround for this149Views2likes7CommentsI am stuck in Meta support hell: all nine circles and no way out
I'm stuck in what feels like Meta account hell and I'm hoping someone here has been through this nightmare. My account was created with email and locked down with 2FA on a phone number I no longer have. My old carrier said there's zero chance of getting that number back, and my recovery codes are either used up or have expired somehow. I've been locked out for a week now. I've spent hours going in circles through Meta's support pages. Need account help? Check the forum—except I can't log in to see it. Login issues? Enter your device serial code—which goes absolutely nowhere. The worst part? There's literally no way to contact an actual human. No email, no support tickets, nothing. Just an endless loop of useless help pages. I'm not giving up yet, but I really need to hear from someone who's gotten through this. Has anyone successfully verified their identity with a government ID or passport to recover their account? If you've dealt with this mess (or something even worse), I'd love to know how you got out of it. I had to make an extra account to even write this disscussion post. It's really heartbreaking, because I actually love using my Quest. But I can't lie, having to go through this entire ordeal leaves a bitter aftertaste.35Views0likes2CommentsAir Link isn't working even though I have all of the requirements
Every time I use the Air Link with my Meta Quest 3 it stutters and stops, and then crashes and kicks me, but once I'm on stand alone it says I can connect again. I've changed the bandwidth limit and everything else under the sun, but nothing seems to fix the problem. I've also repaired the app like five times, I've also checked steam vr too cause I also use that too but I don't why it keeps freezing for ages and then kicking me, or it'll freeze take like 30 seconds to 5 minutes to catch up. I don't know how to fix it and I would like some help.52Views0likes2CommentsQuest 3 - Airlink freezing and stuttering/shaking after any small movements
I've recently bought a Quest 3 and it works fine in most games, however a couple of them seem to have a constant issue: After about 5-10 minutes of comfortable playing through Airlink the game would suddenly freeze and, upon waking up, the tracking becomes very shaky and extremely sensitive to the smallest of movements. Turning the headset off and on temporarily fixes the problem, but after a few seconds the image freezes again at which point the problem repeats up until the game is restarted. Turning off Asynchronous Spacewarp in the debug tool seemed to have fixed the issue completely in TWD Saints & Sinners, however it is still occuring in Into the Radius regardless if ASW is turned off or not23KViews5likes36Comments
