PC Link Passthrough Masking Issues After Meta Link Update
First, I noticed that the 'Beta' menu has disappeared from the Meta Link app. The issue I am encountering involves a masking misalignment between 3D content and the real-world background in Passthrough mode. Specifically, there is an offset where a black silhouette protrudes upwards above the content. I am aware that PC Link Passthrough is primarily intended for debugging purposes. However, this is a critical issue for us because our main content relies heavily on this feature. Is there any solution or workaround for this255Views2likes13CommentsMeta Quest Link Update: Link Launch Issue Resolved
Hi everyone, We recently identified an issue with Meta Quest Link unable to launch which caused users to be stuck in the app launch loading screen. We’ve now released an update that should resolve this problem. What’s changed: The main issue is fixed, and you should be able to use Meta Quest Link as expected. Please note: For now, you won’t be able to see your hands in Dash. However, raycasts are visible, and you should be able to interact with games and other content as usual. Thank you for your patience while we worked on this fix! If you continue to experience any issues, please let us know in the comments.5.4KViews13likes137CommentsAirlink not working, cannot verify headset on website
My airlink was not working for oculus link nor steamvr. I looked for 4 hours for solutions online. I ended up deleting my entire oculus file on my pc and it didn't work. I went through all of the troubleshooting methods. then I used virtual desktop, but it was too laggy. So i read somewhere that factory resetting my headset could fix it. So since it was my last ditch effort, i decided to. Now all of my games and apps are missing and i only have one account with two emails. all of my apps are missing on the mobile app, the website, and on the headset. I have tried verifying my headset on this account using the serial number on the left side of the headset. It did not recognize my serial number. I have tried using the email that I purchased the headset with. It did not recognize the device. I have tried looking for my receipt. my receipt is gone. I do not know what to do. Edit: I solved it. it was an issue with one of the names on my internet not being able to airlink. While i still cant airlink on that wifi, i just decided to make a new network with the app on my phone that lets me control the wifi. This solved the problem. This is a very unique issue, and i doubt anyone would find the solution satisfactory. However, if you have multiple modems with a tp link router, you might want to try resetting your wifi, unplugging your ethernet, and making a new wifi connection with the app and connect both your pc and your headset to that connection in order to get airlink to work. This method fixed both steamvr and link.Solved88Views0likes9CommentsConfirm pairing code not showing up on PC side Meta Quest Link
Whenever I go to air link my 3s to my computer it tells me I need to pair my headset (which I had already done) to my computer, but the only thing is nothing pops up on the Meta Quest Link app on my computer besides the blue bar asking me if I want to set my headset up. (as can be seen in the picture) And when I click "set up" it takes me to a screen telling me to choose which connection method I want to go with, I choose air link, and it gives me the steps on how to enable air link nothing more than that.Solved1.4KViews1like14CommentsQuest Pro controllers go to sleep too quickly.
Both my partner and I have Quest Pros. We AirLink them to our PCs and play VRChat that way. However, we've both noticed that if we stop moving our hands for only about 10 to 15 seconds the controllers seem to go into a sleep mode which causes our characters in VR's arms to drop straight down to their sides. We can wake the controllers back up by wiggling them a bit but it's quite annoying and jarring to have your arms constantly fall to your sides. It's especially annoying when you're using one controller to scroll through a menu and the other goes to sleep causing the game to enter into one controller mode and then the controller you were using to scroll a menu now moves your character so the menu closes and your character starts moving in some direction. I have looked all over but do not see a way to adjust how frequently the controllers go to sleep when not being moved. I've also tried factory resetting both the headset and the controllers.Solved11KViews8likes25CommentsProbleme connexion link

I’m writing this directly, as a customer. Meta Quest 2 was good for what it was. For many people, it’s not a device used every day — it sits on a shelf and gets picked up from time to time. That’s fine. In that sense, Quest 2 will remain a legend of its era. The problem starts when Meta Link updates make hardware that previously worked stop working. Before these changes, I could connect wirelessly to my laptop over Wi-Fi without issues. I configured my network specifically for this, and it was stable. After recent Meta Link changes, the connection became GPU- and configuration-dependent, making the same laptop and the same headset effectively unusable. Some plain facts, no marketing: not everyone is a hardcore gamer who upgrades laptops or VR hardware all the time for many users, VR is an occasional device, not a daily gaming platform native VR games are still at a very early stage — in terms of graphics and quality they resemble early Sony Ericsson mobile games wireless PC VR was the only reasonable alternative to run better-quality content when that stops working, Quest 2 loses its purpose If someone new to VR wants to buy new hardware, that’s their choice. But devices that were already sold and working should not be broken by updates. As a customer, I expect one simple thing: what worked before should keep working, instead of the device slowly becoming unusable.80Views1like2Comments
