PC Link Passthrough Masking Issues After Meta Link Update
First, I noticed that the 'Beta' menu has disappeared from the Meta Link app. The issue I am encountering involves a masking misalignment between 3D content and the real-world background in Passthrough mode. Specifically, there is an offset where a black silhouette protrudes upwards above the content. I am aware that PC Link Passthrough is primarily intended for debugging purposes. However, this is a critical issue for us because our main content relies heavily on this feature. Is there any solution or workaround for this
Cant install Meta Horizon App
i have a problem that i see a lot of others have yesterday i normally conected my headset with my pc today it wont work and i thought maybe its a app problem so i uninstalled it and now i cant install it back it normally loads and on the end when its iniacializing it crashes and tells me to restart my pc i did it 3 times and everythime the same problem someone please help!!!
Meta Quest 2 – Meta Link changes are making the device unusable for regular users
I’m writing this directly, as a customer. Meta Quest 2 was good for what it was. For many people, it’s not a device used every day — it sits on a shelf and gets picked up from time to time. That’s fine. In that sense, Quest 2 will remain a legend of its era. The problem starts when Meta Link updates make hardware that previously worked stop working. Before these changes, I could connect wirelessly to my laptop over Wi-Fi without issues. I configured my network specifically for this, and it was stable. After recent Meta Link changes, the connection became GPU- and configuration-dependent, making the same laptop and the same headset effectively unusable. Some plain facts, no marketing: not everyone is a hardcore gamer who upgrades laptops or VR hardware all the time for many users, VR is an occasional device, not a daily gaming platform native VR games are still at a very early stage — in terms of graphics and quality they resemble early Sony Ericsson mobile games wireless PC VR was the only reasonable alternative to run better-quality content when that stops working, Quest 2 loses its purpose If someone new to VR wants to buy new hardware, that’s their choice. But devices that were already sold and working should not be broken by updates. We’ve now released an update that should resolve this problem. What’s changed: The main issue is fixed, and you should be able to use Meta Quest Link as expected. Please note: For now, you won’t be able to see your hands in Dash. However, raycasts are visible, and you should be able to interact with games and other content as usual. Meta Link app not downloading after update
Do to the issues these past few days in the beginning turning on and off the internet worked for me, but as of yesterdays update I had more problems. I decided to click fix connection or repair I forget but then the whole app deleted itself because there was a failure during upload and now I'm in this infinite loop of the app never downloading because there is a problem. no matter how many times I restart my computer like it tells me too.

hi so i have a ,eta quest 3 and a pc with a 4060 5600g and 24 gb ram and i use link cable so i was playing pcvr last night and then after playing it needed a update i updated and now it wont let me start pcve i tried restarting my pc and vr i tried useing air link i tried a dffent usb port i tried everything i can think offWork around for infinity loading while connecting to link
This looks to be an issue on Meta Side. "Disable your PC's internet connection before launching Link. It should start fine and then you can reenable your connection."
