I have just received the email from Meta saying I should be updating my metadata for my game, including updating the search keyword, but the developer webpage does not allow app lab apps to add keywords. Any other app lab developer also run into that issue?981Views0likes4CommentsPurchase Failed - This item isn't set for purchases yet.
Hi, We recently released our "SetVr Xl-Unleashed" application in the Meta App lab. We are selling this application at 19.99$. When our users from the US region tried to purchase this application, their Purchase failed. They tried 3-4 times but every time, the same result. Please see the attached images for reference. Hi, I am trying to deploy a Meta Quest App to the Meta Store. The first submission was rejected, so I am trying to submit a new one, but when I try, I get the following error: OCULUS_PLATFORM__APK_PACKAGE_NAME_ALREADY_IN_USE The funny part is when I try some other name, I get a new error saying that I am trying to use a new package name, and I must use the previous name. Meaning the previous name that is giving the error of package name already in use So maybe someone has had the same issue. I am totally blocked because of this, because I can not submit the new version of the app. Thank you4.5KViews1like11CommentsTwo questions regarding the developer page
Hello, I work for UbiSim, a nursing VR application on AppLab. We typically send our clients release channel invites via the https://developer.oculus.com/ page. Recently, I've noticed that there is a new field in which we are required to select 'Consumer' or 'Business' before the release channel can be created: Am I right in assuming that we can select 'Business' if the client is using a device manager such as Meta Quest for Business, Arbor XR, etc.? Or, what would be the difference between the two? My other question is more about giving our employees access to the developer page. Are users required to have already paired their Meta Quest headset with a Meta account before they can have access to the developer page? Or, can they just have access with only the Meta account and aren't required to set up a headset? Thank you, and let me know if I should be reaching out elsewhere about this.586Views0likes0CommentsStatus staying as under review
My game that I made for applab has been submitted for around 5 weeks until it went under review just recently. Usually once it goes under review, the meta developer team only takes a few hours to review the game and give you a answer, but my game has been in the status under review for almost 4 days. I haven't got any emails about it and I don't know if it takes longer to review it now. I know the wait time is 5-6 weeks, but when it's under review, I don't think it should take longer than 4 days. No way they are reviewing my game for that long. If the time changed, let me know or maybe this can be a glitch and maybe they forgot about my game lol.1.7KViews0likes1CommentEOS and AppLab - login issues with DeviceID
Hi! I'm developing a multiplayer application for Meta Quest that uses Epic Online Services (EOS). The users are supposed to login using DeviceID. This login method used to work perfectly when I submitted the app to the Alpha Channel of AppLab. Since a few months, the same application in AppLab is not able to login using this method anymore. The login fails silently and doesn't provide any error message. But when I install the application locally on my Quest, without submitting to AppLab, the login works fine. So, I suppose that there is something different or new in AppLab regarding this login method. Does anyone have an idea of what could be wrong or how to solve the problem?Solved2.8KViews0likes9CommentsWhere is the best place to get direct help from Meta?
I'm having a unique issue that cannot be solved through Oculus support (their internal team will get back to me) and Facebook payments (its most likely my browser isn't updated) so I'm hoping Meta will be able to help I can't link my bank account via the developer hub from Australia using a SWIFT code for my bank (Commonwealth). I've tried the other version with XXX at the end too. I called my bank 3 times who confirmed I am entering details correctly548Views0likes0CommentsHow can we list our app on the Main store instead of AppLab?
We have developed a fitness app called Fitness T-on VR. This is our first time registering on Meta Quest, so there are still many things we don't know. We want to list it directly on the main store instead of App Lab, but no matter how much we search, we can't find out how to do it or what the qualification requirements are. Could you please let us know how to do it?496Views0likes0Comments
