Player Emoji System
Your plug-and-play solution for player communication! Bring your world to life with the Player Emoji System, a powerful and intuitive asset for player communication. Designed for creators, this plug-and-play solution is incredibly easy to set up via a single controller script, yet offers deep customization. You can add your own images, define unique emoji categories, create custom UI themes to match your world's style, and even enable a persistent data system. Persistent data unlocks a personalized "Favourites" category that automatically sorts a player's most-used emojis, and a full preferences panel where they can save their chosen theme, animation settings, and more. This makes expression fast, fun, and unique to every player. ๐๐ All emojis used in the asset were designed by OpenMoji; the open-source emoji and icon project. I've broken up my space treasure hunt game into what I hope will be an easy tool kit for creating new levels. You can build elaborate star stations (with vertical elevators and horizontal transporters), hide and search for 10 different kinds of alien artifacts, find 6 different kinds of keys for lockable doors, use a simple trigger system to send both TOAST and full screen messages, display your current inventory, teleport back to your home location if you get lost or fall off a star station, build elaborate scifi rooms from a large set of controls, select from lots of different decorations (even alien rocks and trees) etc., etc. Scifi Treasure Hunt (Remixable) Or at least I think you can. I actually have no idea how remixable games are supposed to work. Is anyone willing to try my game out and give me feedback? I am working on the docs and video tomorrow but I'd really like feedback ASAP.101Views2likes7CommentsParts-Based Animation System
Hello! I'm Todd, AKA Scarcesoft. I've seen a few people asking about importing animated characters into Horizon Worlds, and while this isn't yet possible for us regular creators, I've developed some tooling which makes it possible to have Blender-animated characters in your world now which are nearly as good as the "real thing" within a few minutes or hours, depending on the complexity of your character. I've used this system to animate goblins, xenomorph-like aliens, spiders, and more. You can see examples in the playlist below. Within the next few days I'll be releasing the next series which will cover best practices for how to separate existing characters into parts in a way which doesn't make them look silly. https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLUvQxgmNxn_K_ldPvYo_6NdrK7b33ZSCp&si=gHeRxr9ZMeGFVoyH47Views2likes0CommentsRunaround Rush - Beta
For 'fun', I built little multiplayer game world today using the desktop editor called 'Runaround Rush' the objective is to collect as many stars and coins as you can in the allotted time. If you collect all 16 stars you progress to the next round where at the moment you just get more points for each item you collect. I still need to expand out my map segments as I'm reusing the same three... will do that over the next couple of days. Overall I'm pretty happy with the days work. Any feedback more than welcome! https://horizon.meta.com/world/67815434205480277Views1like0CommentsGot a Pixel Art Idea? Help Us Shape Our Game!
