Audio delay in meta quest developer hub and on oculus.com/cast
Hey there! Just as the title says, I have a very noticable audio delay when using any of the mentioned casting methods. I already tried installing new drivers and a factory reset. The delay is immediately noticable when playing Beat Saber on the quest and casting. Reducing the resolution / bitrate / frame rate did nothing. I am running a Quest 3 connected via Wifi 6 5ghz 2400mbit connection to my pc, connected via 2.5gbit LAN to the router. On the PC the Meta Quest Developer Hub is running in Beta Cast 2.0 ADB over Wi-Fi. The audio delay is also there when having the Quest connected via cable and normal ADB. Any tips appreciated! Kind regards Dustin3.5KViews1like8CommentsQuest Recording not Capturing Audio
I'm currently facing an issue with recording sound while using the Media Player in UE4 on the Oculus Quest. I have a project where I'm playing an MP3 file, but when I try to record the screen on the Quest device, the sound doesn't get captured. If anyone has encountered a similar issue or has any suggestions to help resolve this problem, I would greatly appreciate your assistance. Please let me know if there are any additional details or troubleshooting steps I can provide.1.1KViews0likes1CommentRift S Frame rate drop and audio loss problem
Hi there, ive had my Oculus Rift S for about 6 months now, i had a 2 month period off it because this problem was just killing the vibe for me, this is make or break for me, if i can't get this issue solved, the Rift S is going and ill certainly be changing over to another VR provider. During random games i will have a split second frame crash and then the audio will completely cut out? The only way to then resolve this is to go into the sound settings, disable the rift s and re enable it, this will allow me to continue playing anywhere from 10 seconds to 5 minutes before the same process is repeated. Im currently playing on a MSI GL75 which is more than capable of running everything smoothly, it can run my VR games at top spec (have tried lowering the spec to see if the issue continued and it did) so i know its not my spec thats the problem. Is anyone else having this issue? or is it time for the bin for oculus?660Views0likes0CommentsCrackling audio
So I just updated the software from oculus (12.0.0.191.268) and now I'm having a crackling audio issue. I used to have this issue in the past but now it just came up again. I don't know what happened or know what to do. I've tried reinstalling the audio drivers, different usb slot, disabling unused audio devices, disabling audio enchanments, changing sound quality to CD instead of DVD. I don't know what to do at this point. Does anyone know what to do? I have attached a audio file with the crackling audio (Kinda (It's hard to record it)) and it's just annoying. Does anyone know what to do?445Views0likes0Comments
