Ray-Ban Glasses active without my consent and battery duration is shorter after new update.
I Purchased my Ray-Ban META Glasses Gen 2 on January of 2025, since then they were working great, since an update they are no longer working like before. Since the new update, the glasses activate without voice commands. Sometimes only the activate LED lights up, and other times they interact with what I'm saying, but even without asking or giving META AI any instructions, they activate without me saying "Hey META." Now the battery life is significantly shorter. Before, with my usual use (No streaming nor Video intensive use), they lasted from 8 am (100% of Battery) until 6 or 7 pm (around 5-3% of battery); now they only last from 9 am to 2 pm (0% of battery, getting home with glasses dead). What can I do? I Really don´t like the glasses being active without my consent, and the baterry indicates that they are for some reason.53Views0likes1CommentNew Meta AI app causing Meta Ray-Ban Display to have less battery than before
I'm on the latest Android update and ever since the new Meta AI app update from last week, my Meta Ray-Ban Display Glasses have been dying much faster than before the update. I'll use the glasses for about half of my workday (8am to 12pm) and they'll already be at 15% to dead. And this is without using any audio features and light display usage. Normally, I could use the glasses for my entire workday (8am to 5pm) and be left with at least 20% if not 30%. And that's after heavy music/audio usage (I have "Hey Meta" turned off as well, for reference). I'm on OnePlus Open and I've heard similar things. I hope others can post their experience as well and perhaps get some feedback to devs to fix this. It's quite annoying, because they were working perfectly fine before this!40Views0likes1CommentVoice Controls - unable to turn off
Hello everyone, I was messing around in the accessibility settings and decided to try out Voice Controls. I got a download prompt, clicked through it, and admittedly spammed the toggle a bit to get it to turn on. It finally turned on, but now I'm stuck with a really annoying bug: There is a permanent purple circle with a white microphone icon floating in the top right of my FOV (looks a bit like the red recording indicator). The voice commands don't actually work at all (I'm in Germany, so dictation/AI features have never worked for me anyway). The worst part: I can't turn it off. The Voice Control toggle/slider in the settings is completely unresponsive and stuck in the ON position. I've already tried rebooting the headset, but the floating icon is still there and the toggle remains stuck. Does anyone know a fix or a way to force-disable this accessibility feature? Having this icon constantly floating in my view is super distracting. Thanks!Solved704Views0likes10CommentsVanguard Charging Issue (Red flashing LED)
My new Meta Vanguard sunglasses (one day old) won't charge. I'm getting a constant flashing red LED, even though the case is fully charged (green LED). l've cleaned the contacts and tried a factory reset, but no change. Has anyone had this issue or found a fix?2.2KViews3likes18CommentsQuick Connect no longer available?
For the past couple months I had been using Quick Connect to send photos to WhatsApp using the touchpad. It was very convenient not always having to talk to send pictures. I tried using it today and the feature was just gone? I haven’t found any documentation saying that this was removed so is it an issue on my end? I understand that some features are rolled out randomly but I’ve never heard of features being taken away. Does anyone else have this problem?46Views0likes0CommentsMeta Display Glasses Always Gives the Same Answer No Matter Question.
Hello Everyone, I have 2 pair of the Meta Display Glasses. One pair black and one brown pair. When I add the black pair to my phone and use them the Meta AI pretty much always answers the questions I ask. However, when I add the brown pair to my phone I get the same answer of "I can't help with that yet but im learning more everyday" message for everything no matter what I ask. I'm using the same phone with the same Meta AI app but the experience is completely different on each of the glasses. The black pair I get answers for weather, temperature, navigation pretty much everything I ask. But when I set up the brown pair of glasses to the same phone and ask the exact same questions I get the generic message of "I can't help with that yet but im learning more everyday" as the answer for all questions. I have checked the app permissions and have given permission for everything it's asking for. The app is completely unrestricted. Does anyone have any idea what's going on with this brown pair of Meta Display Glasses? I am completely out of ideas on why this is happening and any help is greatly appreciated.99Views0likes5CommentsDead raybans

So the Meta Horizon app on my iPhone SE (2020) got an update today (v364.0.2.18.265), and now it keeps randomly popping-up the error "Device locked. To allow your headset to share information with this device, put on your headset and enter your passcode." Well, my nearest connected headset doesn't even have a locking passcode set! 😠 Also, we have two headsets managed by the mobile app. The annoying popup doesn't even identify which device it is referring to! 😠 My daughter's headset has a locking code on my primary account, but not on her account. However, it was asleep on charging and too far away, thus appearing as "not connected". So that shouldn't be the issue either. I did a Google search for the above error message and nothing at all was found. Zero. I guess it's a new "thing". Thanks Meta 😠. I tried fully powering both headsets off and on, restarting the phone and logging out and back in to the app, but the bug persists. I've reported the issue to Meta via the mobile app. Anyone else having this issue?92Views0likes5CommentsMic issues on Meta Ray-ban Display
Hi! I have been using it daily since October and I love the day to day with it on my updated Android. This morning I ran into a problem: the microphone on my glasses stopped working on my phone. My main case of wearing glasses is still using them as a headset for calls and sending voice messages. It is updated to the last version available. I've tried factory restoration (also unpair and re-pair) and nothing. I already had a first generation with a very similar problem, but there it was possible to remedy the problem by activating an option in the app settings. However, we do not have that option here. Anyone else with this problem and/or solution?229Views1like7Comments
