Just updated to PTC v83 and have a persistent problem. Quest 3 starts up in passthrough, then after a few seconds I get a dialog box announcing "Settings has stopped". The only option is Close app. Double tapping on the headset cancels passthrough and reveals my homespace. The new menu system is there, I can see all my apps and the haptic feedback triggers when I try to start one, but nothing starts. None of the other menu icons work, apart from home, which goes to passthrough. I tried a restart from the boot menu, but it hasn't altered anything. I have a Quest 3 (about 8 weeks old). When I am using Horizon Worlds and try to enter any portal to a live event, instead of teleporting me to the event, the Quest Universal UI appears, showing a window for the Meta Store, specifically showing a page to install Horizon Worlds. But the strangest thing is that this is not the official Horizon Worlds store page - the official page has over 15,000 user ratings (with an average rating of 3.5), but the page that appears only has 16 ratings (with an average rating of 2.3)! Also strange is that it has a "download" button, while on the official store page it has a "start" button (because, of course, Worlds is already installed on my Quest 3 as part of the Universal UI and it cannot be uninstalled or re-installed). Also, when I clicked "Install", it said "Installing" but the progress bar got stuck at nearly 100% and nothing happened. You can see in the screenshot above, I tried to join the "Hot Ones" live event from Horizon Central, but when I clicked "Join" the store page (seen on the right of the screenshot) opened up. If you look closely, you can see in the bottom-left of that window that that version of the app only has 16 ratings with a score of 2.3, and also that the "Download" button is enabled! The next screenshot shows the official Worlds app from the Meta Store. hey so i’ve used a free trial for a game called “Toss” a while ago and decided to purchase the full game a day ago and i’ve gotten an error saying that my free trial has ended for the game and that I need to purchase the full game to play it, when i’ve already bought it. When I click the “Purchase” option it takes me to the “Toss” app store page where it says “Launch” and when I click it I get the error so I’m basically thrown into a loop so I am very confused. I’ve tried clearing my cache, and data on the game and reinstalled it too but the issue is persisting and I’ve used a free trial on another game and have had the same free trial issue. You can't disable developer mode for child profiles but also require developer mode for games to work with child profiles. You see how that's a catch 22? Please fix this. I get not wanting developer mode to be enabled for child profiles but please make sure all games are playable by the child profile without it! I recently wanted to play the Game Bonelab on my quest 2 ! My parents are totally fine with me playing 18+ games since I myself am 17 and turning 18 soon. However my account is entirely restricted for 18+ games ! I already set up the parental controls with my mom‘s Account to disable the function and give me full access to the entire catalogue ! However, whenever my mom disables the restriction, the option is immediately re-enabled when you leave the menu ! My phone app got spammed with „your restrictions have been disabled“ notifications, however the changes never apply ! I also am unable to even send an approval notification for any purchases overall, so there is absolutely no button to even press ! Well, now my Mom gifted me the game over her account, because we thought this maybe worked better. But the activation code just gets rejected with the same „you aren‘t 18 yet“ response… What can i do ? I have full approval of my parents as I said before… We followed all the guides on the websites, doing everything step by step.
