When I drive before the update, I can play music CarPlay and record at the same time. Now it pauses the music. Also when I picked the one press default to take videos, when I put it in the case and use it again, reverts back to taking a photo. It’s so frustrating. The previous version was way better. Meta please fix asap. It’s unusable and annoying. I don’t even want to use this anymore. anyone else having this same issue? I read one person is also having this issue so far.
Double text message confirmation
Hello - when replying to a text message, several times a day at random Meta will say: Meta - “message to X says blah blah blah, ready to send?” Me - “yes” Meta - “message to X says blah blah blah, ready to send?” Me - “yes” Meta - “message sent” I can’t find a pattern, I always speak clearly and it tends to work on the second try. Anyone else have this issue? This has happened across two pairs of gen 2 glasses paired with an iPhone 17 Pro Max.
Vanguard Charging Issue (Red flashing LED)
My new Meta Vanguard sunglasses (one day old) won't charge. I'm getting a constant flashing red LED, even though the case is fully charged (green LED). l've cleaned the contacts and tried a factory reset, but no change. Has anyone had this issue or found a fix?
Gen 1 Wayfarers Failing To Memorize Details
I've had the Meta Glasses Gen 1 Wayfarers for some time now, and I plan to get new ones soon, but I was curious because they fail to store memories on the app anymore for more relevant conversation and help, did Meta remove this? I live in Maryland, and the glasses used to be able to do this. For example I'd like it to remember nicknames or facts about me and whatnot. Upon Googling, it said it was a connectivity issue, but I've powered them off and back on, reconnected, and even factory reset them. Nothing seems to work, and when I ask it to remember something it says, "I will remember that for this conversation." Any help would be appreciated to make the help from my Gen 1 Wayfarers more relevant!
Meta raybans displays do not disconnect Bluetooth when off face and in case charging.
Just received glasses in noticing that well they’re in the case charging my Bluetooth on my phone (iPhone) has not disconnected. I have the setting on that. It should be disconnecting when I remove them so that’s not working. I’ve tried toggling that on and off still the same even turning Bluetooth on and off it’s reconnecting despite the glasses are in the case charging that should not be happening, especially in the case it should just be a given if they’re charging Bluetooth should not be connected as they can’t even be worn on your face and charge. Clearly a bug has most recent update not a good first experience. How do we resolve?Meta Ray-Ban Display WhatsApp Issue
I'm getting a really annoying bug where, if I make a WhatsApp call from the visual interface on my glasses, the microphone won't activate until I unlock my phone. This doesn't happen with normal phone calls though. Anyone else have this or similar WhatsApp issues? For reference, I'm using a OnePlus Open with Android 15.Oakley Meta Vanguard No Audio
Im having issues with my brand new glasses. It does not play any audio coming from the phone. Everything else works but when it comes to listen to music or making calls. It gave me an update to version 17 whilst setting up the glasses and both the phone and meta ai app are up to date. I already tried the TS found over here re-pair the glasses, factory reset and all the works. it feels like a firmware bug but i have no idea what to do. Oakley did not help they just offered a return but it is not possible for me. I bought them for a trip in which I currently am… in a different country. any ideas?HDR no longer working on my Ray-Ban Meta Gen 1
Hey everyone, I’ve had my Ray-Ban Meta Gen 1 glasses for about three weeks now. During the first two weeks, my videos were definitely in HDR, I could even see the “HDR” tag in the video info on my phone after recording. But for the past few days, that tag no longer appears, and the videos look flatter and less dynamic. The recordings are still 1080p 60fps, so performance is fine, but the HDR part seems to have completely disappeared. Has anyone else noticed this recently? Could it be related to a firmware or app update? Or did Meta just remove HDR recording for Gen 1 users ?
