Vanguard Charging Issue (Red flashing LED)
My new Meta Vanguard sunglasses (one day old) won't charge. I'm getting a constant flashing red LED, even though the case is fully charged (green LED). l've cleaned the contacts and tried a factory reset, but no change. Has anyone had this issue or found a fix?3.3KViews3likes23CommentsQuick Connect no longer available?
For the past couple months I had been using Quick Connect to send photos to WhatsApp using the touchpad. It was very convenient not always having to talk to send pictures. I tried using it today and the feature was just gone? I haven’t found any documentation saying that this was removed so is it an issue on my end? I understand that some features are rolled out randomly but I’ve never heard of features being taken away. Does anyone else have this problem?141Views1like3CommentsQuest 3S внезапно отключается от WiFi

after the update, the screens started turning off after some time and so every time, updating through the update Meta Quest software website does not help, I have already tried 2 times, I had almost the same symptoms once, I waited for the next update, then updated through the website and after that it worked. video of the problem: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1wqd4Kew4k16iApFgNZ5E6tjMGzNoj-Xn/view?usp=sharing188Views3likes8Comments2.4 OVROverlayCanvas flickering issue
Tested on Quest 2/3/3S - OS v2.4.1034 After updating from 2.3 to 2.4 this morning my app is showing significant performance and visual issues. Apart from the framerate drops, it causes a black flickering on the screen that is only visible internally in the headset (i.e, doesn't show up on cast or video recording). It seems to be related to the use of OVROverlayCanvas as I tested an older build from two weeks ago that didn't have it implemented yet and the issue is not present. It also seems to get worse when I open the oculus menu within the app, as if adding overlay layers worsened the issue. Anyone else is seeing similar issues post-update ?49Views0likes0CommentsMy montroller isn’t tracking
It is showing the light and the battery percentage but when I go in apps it like a dead hand when I unpaired and re paired replaced batteries and checked the controller it has this weird orange reside near the bottom spring connection but other wise it’s in perfect shape115Views0likes7CommentsNew Quest 3 locked on software update, impossible to fix.
Hi guys, I bought my first Quest 3 today. When I turned it on, it started a software update but it gets stuck there — the device keeps turning on and off without completing the update, and I can’t get past that screen. I haven’t even set up my Meta Horizon account yet, and since I didn’t purchase my Quest 3 through the official Meta store, when I try to enter my device’s serial number on the website it gives me an error. I tried doing the sideload update (the only fix I found on the internet) by holding the volume down and power buttons on the Quest 3. But when I select my device in the browser, I get a message saying: “your device is not supported, please try reconnecting your devices.” Weird cause both my PC and Chrome are detecting it as Quest 3. I also tried disabling adblock, deleting caché and cookies, incognito mode, other browsers, other PCs, other cables, connecting it on different times, etc. There is not a single thing I haven't tried. (Every single one of these attempts were done while having 50% battery. There’s nothing else I can do, literally — I’ve already tried factory reset several times as well. Do I need to return my device? I'm submitting this post so support can help me. I'm quite desperate, I don't see my issue anywhere on google and I spoke to support via Whatsapp and everything they told me to try, I already had.3.7KViews2likes11CommentsMic issues on Meta Ray-ban Display
Hi! I have been using it daily since October and I love the day to day with it on my updated Android. This morning I ran into a problem: the microphone on my glasses stopped working on my phone. My main case of wearing glasses is still using them as a headset for calls and sending voice messages. It is updated to the last version available. I've tried factory restoration (also unpair and re-pair) and nothing. I already had a first generation with a very similar problem, but there it was possible to remedy the problem by activating an option in the app settings. However, we do not have that option here. Anyone else with this problem and/or solution?406Views1like10CommentsOakley Vanguard's Microphone not working since last software update
Happening to me now, 6 months old and used maybe 10 times. I have done everything the terrible Meta support pages suggest. Un-paired and re-paired. Restored to factory Cleared the speaker. Uninstalled and re-installed the software on my phone. Release version 124 and since then the glasses dont respond to Hey Meta or OK Meta and nobody can here me if i answer a call or try and respond to a WhatsApp message. Strangely though if i want to use the translate function that works just fine, go figure. I have removed all app connections that i had previously setup, tried in English UK and English USA langauges, nothing works to get the glasses to hear the Hey Meta or OK Meta voice prompts.154Views0likes5Commentsv85/v2.1.1034 Passthrough Loop
I put this on Reddit also posting here in case it's a bugged update? Ok so this is my issue after Feb 27th v2.1.1034 Update: 1. The Problem: v85/v2.1 "Passthrough Loop" AI advises: This specific flickering issue (cycling between Home and Passthrough) is a known bug associated with the v85/v2.1 update. It appears to be tied to a conflict between the new "Navigator" UI and the headset's tracking/boundary service. Why it happens: The OS is essentially "crashing" the immersive home environment and falling back to Passthrough as a failsafe, then attempting to reload the environment again. The "Double Tap" Fix: Manually forcing Passthrough works because it tells the OS to stop trying to render the immersive environment, which bypasses the crash loop. 2. Process: Meta Software Update Tool Attempted resolution: I proceeded with the Sideload Update - update successfully loaded but.... Issue persists > Goto 1. LOL. So right now I will perhaps await the next meta update which may fix my problem before attempting a factory reset and linking accounts up etc... > If I manually enable pass through, I can get to quick access menus etc. so could update from there when next update available. > I haven't tried - PC Wired Link yet, so hopefully can get to MSFS SIM I use. > For the moment, standalone usage is a no go. Note: > I do have WhatsApp on the Quest which I know is active and in past updates I've seen this crashing in the background via notifications message things popping up. That has not happend this time but I think the Q2 may be struggling in my case as per above, something is causing it to crash. > I recently starting testing the 3rd party Immersive App on Q2 with it's version of remote desktop and virtual second monitor feature it can use with a laptop, as native Meta RD can't do that.....but I'm assuming nothing is running in BG with that app if it's not being used...... META / Anyone - any thoughts?Solved893Views1like17Comments
