Why is it impossible to create a bundle that contains unreleased add-ons?
For my game, I have created 3 add-ons (skin packs) that have been approved by Meta. I'd like to offer these 3 add-ons in a bundle at a lower price point, however I am unable to add unreleased add-ons to the bundle. I dont want there to be a period of time in which 3 of my add-ons are publicly available for purchase without a corresponding bundle containing the 3 add-ons also being available at the same time. Why is it impossible to create a bundle with add-ons that are not yet released? Players of my game are going to end up leaving negative reviews saying they bought one of the add-ons, only for us to release a bundle with a better deal 2 weeks later!362Views0likes0CommentsQuestions regarding Bundles
I want to publish a Minigames collection and make the different Minigames accessible individually using DLCs. However I also want to publish a Bundle, where users can buy the entire collection (Party Edition) for a fixed price (~20$). As the game will be in Early Access for some time, the price as well as the content of the Party Edition Bundle will increase over time. How much can you modify an already published Bundle? Like for example in the beginning, when there are only 4 Minigames, the Bundle should be around 10$ and after some time I want to add 4 more Minigames and increase the Price to 20$. Probably gonna add even more and increase the price to 25$. Will players who have already bought the Bundle in the beginning (with only 4 Minigames back then) also have access to newly added Minigames? Also on the Steam Shop you have this bundle option called "complete the set", where players, who have already bought DLCs from the Bundle individually, will pay a lower price for the complete set, when they buy the Bundle. Does something like that also exist for Quest bundles? Sorry for all the questions but I didn't find any information on these topics on the docs and I can't create a Test Bundle before I publish my App.881Views0likes0CommentsQuestion:IAP, how to package some SKUs into a bundle & sell them in batches?
Hi, Support: we are trying to integrate IAP in our Apps on Quest App Lab, but we didn't find a way in the dashboard to package multiple SKUs as a bundle and sell them together. Is there such a method that can realize the batch sales of multiple SKUs as a bundle, in which user can enjoy the preferential price? At the same time, we also hope that after one purchases any SKU in the bundle, the price of the owned SKU can be deducted when the user purchases the bundle later.626Views0likes0CommentsVader Immortal Quest Bundle Still Active after Jan 31?
I was about to purchase the Oculus Quest from Best Buy today on Feb 1 because I have a BB promotional coupon, and then stopped short of ordering it once I realized the free Vader Immortal promotion evidently ended yesterday (Jan 31). I checked this Oculus website to confirm that the promotion had ended, but didn't see anything about it being extended. The terms and conditions for this bundle state: Valid on purchase of a new Oculus Quest VR headset (64GB or 128GB) ("Qualifying Product") between 9:01 am PST on 11/21/2019 and 11:59:59 pm PST 1/31/2020 or while supplies last. For giggles, since it says "...or while supplies last," I decided to add the Quest to my cart in the Oculus Store. Here's the description I receive when adding it to the Oculus Store cart: Oculus Quest Vader Immortal Bundle - 64GB Bundle Includes: Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series, VR Headset, Two Touch Controllers, AA Batteries, Power Adapter, Eyeglass Spacer, Charging Cable. Ships by March 2 Judging by the description, it appears the Vader Immortal Bundle is still 'active' today. Does anyone know if this means that if I purchase it from BB today, to be received on Tues (2/4), that I'll still receive Vader Immortal for free? If not, I'll pass on the purchase. This opinion may be silly to some, but it's too hard to accept that I'd miss out on this bundle just because I'm one day late to the party. Thanks for any feedback!2.2KViews0likes10CommentsCV1 VR experience on a budget coming from using a Mac = not cheap! (edited)
In January my GF (better half) ordered the 'rift' as a present for a significant birthday. Fabulous present. The CV1 is due to be delivered here in the UK late May early June - later than expected but I can wait... I can wait as I don't own a PC (the billgates variety) having survived on Macs since the 90's - Long story short I want to build a PC to the run the CV1 I've not a lot of money and merely want the PC to run CV1 VR, no need to install anything other than a couple of games inc Elite Dangerous which I'm lead to believe won't run on anything less than a GTX980? It's been a while since i built a PC but understand priorities for VR are; GFX card, CPU, Motherboard, Ram and SSD? I'm especially interested in buying a good motherboard and CPU to last a few years and a quiet PSU with the knowledge that a graphics card can be updated when the lottery numbers come in (-: If anyone of a limited financial situation can suggest some quality components merely to enable Oculus Rift CV1 to run well I would appreciate advice, specs and maybe a link or two. Oculus have promised voucher codes to buy a CV1 ready PC but I'd prefer to DIY inside a discrete sound proofed box, without blue, red, green led's etc ... plus it would probably be cheaper to DIY1.8KViews0likes19Comments
