Meta Hyperscape Capture
Greetings, This is such an exciting application. I recently created captures of my childhood home. I divided the house into smaller sections to scan. Most of the scans worked out well. The problem - I stared one scan in a small room at the base of a set of stairs. I scanned the stairs, then climbed the stairs to scan the upper floor. I completed each phase of the capture, returned to the base of the stairs, and began the next phase. The result of rendering starts me at the base of the stairs, but it doesn't let me climb them. I am confident the data is there, but I cannot reach the upper floor. Is there a way to change my starting location or teleport to the upper floor? I am thinking my only option is to capture it again. I have a second question. How durable are these scans? It seems we may not be able to rely on captures as a long-term asset. I am interested in any context or plans for preserving these captures. Thank you in advance for your constructive replies.103Views0likes2CommentsHyperscape floor level and navigation issues
I did my first capture today and while visually it turned out well, when I was viewing it after processing I was stuck maybe a foot above the ground and I couldn't teleport anywhere (I walked around about 12 ft x 12 ft area to capture the place). Why is that? Did I need to set up floor level and boundary before starting the capture?42Views0likes0CommentsAccess video data of the Mixed Reality Perspective of a user
Is it possible to access the final rendered video data of Mixed Reality experience of the user within Unity? Purpose: I want to stream the POV of the user to a web application, for this I need access to the video feed itself, that the user sees. So far I couldn't really find any information about that :/77Views0likes2Comments
