Quest 2 battery going straight from 100% to 24% when unplugged
I'm wondering if this is a visual bug or an actual issue because it happens instantly Sometimes this doesnt happen so im just confused on what is causing this I'll unplug it after it says 100% and instantly plug it back in to test it and its just straight to the 20's
Quest 3s won’t turn on or charge
I bought my quest new and it arrived today it was working fine out of the box but seemingly randomly a couple hours into use the screen went black and when I tried to charge it the light indicating charging wouldn’t light up when I plugged it in. I’ve tried a different cord and different outlets but nothing seems so be working. I’m sure it can’t be out of battery because it was at 50% before it black screened and said so in the app. When I tried rebooting it or factory rebooting it nothing happened no display no noises either and I literally just got it out of the box hours ago and set it up and it was working fine I can’t understand what I did wrong. The only thing I can think it could be was I set and reset my boundaries multiple times and I’ve heard of that messing with battery but I can’t understand why the charging light isn’t turning on when I plug it in or what to do about it. I’ve tried just leaving it on the charger for a couple hours but nothing changed.
Issue with Meta Quest 3S (Battery) (Charging)
Hey everyone, I got my Quest 3s over 4 months ago, and less than 2 months in, my Quest decided to no longer charge. My device is stuck on 1% battery and doesn't turn on at all. I have tried multiple USB-C chargers that should definitely give it enough power, as well as holding down the power button for 20 seconds and the additional volume button, but nothing seems to work. I attempted to go through my warranty to get another device; however, it says, "We couldn’t find a device associated with the verification info provided. Please try again". This device is not a knock-off of any sort, and I received it as a gift from Verizon when bundling my home internet and phone plan. I think that it's absolutely insane that there is 0 way to get in contact with any support, not even AI support lol. Please, if someone knows a way to fix this or get in contact with someone who can actually help. I'm all ears
Quest 3s wont turn on, No LEDS, No Boot menu
My headset is not even a week old, its worked fine up until 4 hours ago. I stopped using the headset at 31% battery, on the meta horizon app it states this is the battery as well and was synced 4 hours ago. Since then its been completely bricked. The LED light wont indicate if its charging , the screens dont work at all. And now ive left the glorfied paper weight to charge for more than 2 hours using the cable and adapter the headset came with, nothing. Some other things to note, -Cant access boot menu after holding the volume down and power for over one minute multiple times -tried and tested multiple charging cables, doesn't work -I use no accessories for the headset -LED does not work -Cant be detected on my PC on the meta app Would appreciate any advice on the matter. Thank you!
Quest 2 Not Charging.
My quest 2 has been completely dead for 1-2 years and i finally have decided to try again. I have tried changing the cable to completely resetting it and it will not charge. I have tried with the charger it came with and a newer one. Yesterday, I got it to show up to the login screen but it died less than a minute after charging it for 2 hours. When i turn it on it just shows the dead battery icon. I think the battery needs replaced but i figured to come here as a last resort.
Q3 Elite Battery Strap not charging properly
Since non-beta V78/79 my Q3 Elite Battery strap does not charge properly. That is, after a full shutdown, connected then to my Q3 charger, the main headset battery indicator never turns on. This used to turn orange = charging, and green = charged once both the headset and elite battery were fully charged. The workaround for me right now is to charge each battery separately. Bit of a pain but this seems to work ok. I have submitted a bug report on this with both v78 and v79. Hopefully this will be fixed with the upcoming non-beta v81. I haven’t played on my oculus quest 3 for about 3 weeks i went to go and try it out and my controllers didn’t turn on, i replaced the batteries multiple times to no avail, then when my quest died i went to charge it, nothing, ive replaced the plug, switched plug sockets, switched the power cable and still it won’t charge. if theres any advice you have please let me know so i can try it
