Mobile Genre Showdown Game Hub FINISHED
This was BRUTAL with the door search glitch hitting me through the whole thing, but I kept at it and have now added ALL OF THE ENTRIES on the devpost gallery! If I happen to miss yours, I apologize and please send me a DM and will be glad to get it in there! https://horizon.meta.com/worlds/3505467086257602232Views4likes1CommentThe Triangle Obby
Hey all, I just wanted to share a new world that we submitted for the Mobile Creator Competition. Its called The Triangle Obby and you can find it here: https://horizon.meta.com/world/661118703543417 Essentially its a side scrolling platformer where you take two "laps" on each side of the triangle before reaching the goal in the middle. It doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles yet, but hopefully we'll get a chance to add more of that once the competition concludes. If you have any questions or feedback, let me know!146Views5likes0CommentsThe Resistance
The Resistance is a high-intensity mobile PvE game available on the Meta Horizon Worlds platform. Team up with your friends and step into the fight as Earth’s last line of defense against relentless alien drones. Strategize, upgrade your arsenal, and battle through dynamic missions in an immersive virtual environment. Every encounter is a test of skill, teamwork, and survival—do you have what it takes to push back the invasion?332Views5likes2CommentsEaster Magic Workshop
Every year, I plan to release something creative for Easter. I've launched a mobile app to do Scrapbooking (not live anymore), and did an app to paint a 3d egg (web, social). We were working as a team on the other battle project, but it was hard to work at the same time in one world, and it was Easter, so we split forces a bit, and worked on both. Initially, I wanted to do some active Easter fun + painting, but in the end we decided to concentrate on the painting part. I personally do love painting miniatures and do love snow globes, so the goal was clear. I was trying to achieve proper control of the brush for every platform. And I hope I did well. The idea of focused control came on the day before the last day of the competition. https://devpost.com/software/easter-fest https://horizon.meta.com/world/3043638249119872/?hwsh=IlaU223Gdo&locale=en_US So, please check my world and give some feedback on the brush control. It should work in a "natural" way. You can touch the objects directly or shoot at them. If you want to try the Focused mode, go up to the Terrace (on the right of the entrance). P.S. Thank you all for the live sessions and tutorials, they inspired me every time. After the Masked flowers session, I've added a watering activity, etc 😎320Views2likes2CommentsgrowHomes - farmville-esque virtual real estate in Shireville

This was my submission to the Mobile Genre Showdown hackathon. The game is a tycoon where players start with a single conveyor and dropper combo, then continually upgrade their tycoon with additional items like more droppers, upgraders, walls, and a second conveyor. There are six plots of varying colors for the player to choose from. There is also a magic wand like weapon, with a couple of damage upgrades, for PVP in the middle area between the plots. I certainly learned a lot from building this game! Sorry, it's me again. This world is highly inspired by the movies Oblivion and The Gorge. While working on the worlds, I keep in mind that the world should be interesting for a solo player, for a team of friends, and a random company. We were trying to create the spirit of the Far outpost, where the player can chill and do some routine maintenance. If the player needs some action, he is able to go to the Watch. There he will meet angry drones. The bite turned out to be a bit bigger than we could bite. So we left a lot of bugs there. So please check the world, we will continue working on it after the competition. And I promise we will fix everything. https://hz.me/w/3025528860930811?hwsh=ocUX7sHdlr https://devpost.com/software/sky-invasion I'll put some known issues and some hints in the comments.228Views1like1CommentGold Fever Tycoon
Hey everyone, this is our entry into the Mobile Genre Showdown There was a lot to overcome and learn, but all in all, we had a great time and really, really enjoyed working in Horizon Worlds Key points of the gameplay include starting small (and eventually expanding big), freedom to progress as you want (although slots/buildings have initial pre-requisites, it ends there), infinite progression (there is no upgrade cap, or currency/resource cap), hiring and managing allocation of workers, and the selling of resources at the most opportune times according to supply and demand Future improvements and additions include but are not limited to: Increasing from 2P to 4P, increasing the size of the game world, polish in areas where it's needed, introducing prestige mechanics, seasonal events (such as gold rushes, natural disasters), worker specialization and training (worker stats), transport chains (wagons, trains) to manage and optimize logistics, individual area customization (themes, flags, colors) as well as customization of the players character Would love for anybody to give it a try, let me know what you think down below. Cheers! https://horizon.meta.com/world/600266283177390/152Views2likes0CommentsTower Zen
Tower Zen is live! We released it last night and it’s available to play right now in Horizon Worlds on Mobile Only. This peaceful platformer was our entry for the current Devpost competition. Climb the tower, light the candles, and discover the island above the clouds. Let us know what you think! https://horizon.meta.com/world/10239267968981534279Views9likes1CommentThe Luminous Trial
Hi everyone! I’m working on a compact puzzle adventure world for the Meta Horizons Mobile Competition 2.0, and I’d love your feedback as I get closer to finishing it. It’s called The Luminous Trial, and it’s designed as a short, experience that works across mobile and desktop. You appear up at a temple entrance where light itself is the key to unlocking progress. Players solve a series of environmental puzzles using rotating mirrors, hidden switches, and levers to reveal the path forward. This world focuses on: Interactive Puzzles (beam puzzles, key doors, floor switches) Device-aware Inputs (focused drag for mobile/web) Atmospheric Design (custom camera angles, animations, and an AI greeter) Single-session play – Easy to complete in one sitting I'm looking for feedback on: Does it feel like an adventure game to you? For reference Genre Common Features Guidance for Mobile Competition 2.0 Would you prefer to get subtle hints, or do you like figuring things out solo? Do the mechanics feel smooth across devices? Any visual or UX improvements you'd recommend? Any other feedback you may have? I'm especially looking for mobile playtesters, but all feedback is welcome. If you're up for running through the world and helping break it a little, I’d love to hear from you. If you are interested in checking it out please use the links below. The Feedback Clone is a stable, “as-is” version if you want a consistent experience. The Development Build is the latest version I’m working on, it might include new features, but it may also be a little broken at times! I’d love to check it out and return the favour. Edit: Thank you to everyone who took the time to playtest and provide feedback on The Luminous Trial! I've just finalised my submission for the competition. I received a lot of thoughtful suggestions and have implemented many of the changes. The rest are in my backlog to revisit once the judging period wraps up. If you are interested: Check out the demo video: https://youtu.be/ZReVnZLVdlw Play the submitted version: https://horizon.meta.com/world/10160327626785583 Once again, thank you for all the support and fingers crossed for the comp! Also, best of luck with your own submissions, I can’t wait to see what everyone’s created!2.1KViews16likes16Comments
