Quest 3 triggers not pressing buttons in menu
My quest 3 controllers work just fine when im entering in my passcode, but after it logs me in i then can no longer press anything wiht my controllers, they are still connected and track normally and i can see the trigger move on the in vr version of my controller so i know its not a problem with the physical trigger, but i no longer have the cursor the would appear on the menu when you point your controller at your menu, i also can no longer see the line that would appear in front of your controller for our cursor. I have tried all the following methods to attempt to fix it with no result: Factory resetting Unpairing and repairing controllers Replacing batteries Restarting headset Clearing boundary history Entering immersive mode and re entering passthrough Switching accounts Pressing with the end of the controller35Views2likes3CommentsMy Left Controller won’t work the battery case won’t come out. What do I do?
After having a failing discussion with the meta support ai I’ve turned to the community. My left controller is charged 100% and won’t work with my meta quest three and neither of the controllers batteries will slide out after I’ve watched countless videos about it. I’m not sure what to do with my left controller as I’ve had it for only a year and the right one works fine. This randomly happened and I keep amazing care of it.6Views0likes0CommentsRight Quest 2 Controller stuck in SOS Mode
Hello everyone, I'm currently stuck with an issue with my right quest 2 controller being stuck in SOS mode. My right controller is always in sos mode, but when I turn the headset is off, it blinks normally like my left one. When I power the headset back on, the light goes dim and then enters the SOS mode again. I tried multiple things but none worked Removed battery for several minutes AND for multiple hours. Replaced with a brand new, non-rechargeable high-quality alkaline battery. Unpaired and re-paired via the Meta Horizon app. I once got it to work by unpairing, restarting the headset, and re-pairing. It worked for one session, but as soon as I turned the Quest back on the next day, it went back to SOS mode. Today I attempted a factory reset as my last attempt at fixing my right controller, but the controller is still on sos mode and now my headset is stuck in the screen for pairing the controllers and I cannot do anything about it since I need both controllers to continue with the setup. Any help fixing my right controller would be really appreciated, Thanks.26Views0likes1CommentTrouble with meta quest pro left controller

So I just got this new headset about two weeks ago. I’m not very techy but I’ve done everything I could to try and fix my controllers. My left one is deciding not to pair or even connect, even though it’s fully charged. The light will turn on, I’ll feel the buzz when trying to pair, but it still decides not to pair or show up. I’ve looked at several discussions and tried researching online but nothing helps or tells me what to do. I’ve held down the buttons, restarted the headset, no luck.20Views0likes1CommentCan’t pair reset quest 3S. [SOLVED]
the below issue was solved when I clicked on quest 3 instead of quest 3S at the what type of device are you pairing menu. this is insane because it was a 3S I was pairing ! I can’t pair my quest 3S after factory reset. I put in the code provided by the headset but it says visor not found. I tried finding local access in iOS for app but local access doesn’t list meta horizon app even though it’s installed. I tried the move visor far away and bring back but it didn’t work. I tried doing it on website instead of app but website wants an 8 digit code and visor offers a 5 digit code. I can’t get past pairing screen in visor to find actual code or different code if it is wrong. Also want to add that when I put my serial number on the quest web site it said I don’t qualify for support. I would not have purchased a $500 set of VR goggles had I known the company does not provide customer support.95Views0likes6CommentsHi everyone, I need technical advice. My Right Controller disconnected and I can't get it back.
Quest 2 Right Controller flashes SOS (3 times) then dies. Won't enter pairing mode. Hi everyone, I need technical advice. My Right Controller disconnected and I can't get it back. The Symptoms: - I unpaired it from the app to try and reset it. - Now, when I insert a battery, the LED blinks white 3 times and then shuts off completely. - Buttons are unresponsive. Holding Oculus + B does nothing (no light). Troubleshooting steps I have ALREADY taken: 1. Batteries: Swapped from generic heavy duty to brand new Energizer Alkaline. 2. Swap Test: Took the working battery from my Left Controller (which works perfectly) and put it in the Right one. Result: Still just 3 blinks and dead. 3. Foil Trick: Used aluminum foil to ensure contact with the positive terminal. No change. 4. Force Reset: Held down buttons for 1+ minute while inserting battery. No response. Is the "3 blinks on battery insertion" a code for hardware failure/short circuit? I want to avoid opening the hardware/RMA if possible. Is there any obscure "revive" trick I haven't tried? Thanks!67Views0likes9CommentsRight Quest 3S Controller Triggers not working (again?)
I seem to be having an issue that was relevant 6 months ago, yet none of the recommended fixes worked for me, so I'll be taking my chances here. The left controller works completely fine, however on my right controller, none of the triggers works. Both the grip and index triggers does not trigger in game, or in menu. The capacitive sensors work flawlessly, though, and track how close my finger is on the index finger trigger just fine. The buttons and joystick work fine, too. It's just those two most important buttons that do not work. I've tried unpairing (on headset and on app), removing the battery on the controller for hours, resetting my headset, and none of it worked. Help is greatly appreciated!29Views0likes0Comments
