Hello All, I submitted app on app lab. After released app, get response from oculus that Changes requested and can not pass VRC.Quest.Functional.6 (App must only include Quest HMDs and controllers...) Anyone have an idea how can pass this VRC.Quest.Functional.6 requirements?1.8KViews0likes3CommentsFormfitting Controllers
So I'm writing this after playing Pistol Whip, and I gotta say my ring and pinkie fingers hurt a lot, is there anyway we can ask for a controller with a grip that's a bit more form-fitting? I think I'd be happier if maybe there's some sort of indent for where your fingers rest, and maybe about 3 centimeters thinner through the axis that aligns with your thumb and your trigger finger. it's current design feels swollen in my hands, like I can't get stable grip, playing games like beatsaber constantly make me drop them.1.4KViews0likes1CommentThe controllers need straps
I think that Oculus should make controllers that have straps on the back. If I could strap it in around the back of my hand or something then I could throw things a lot harder. I have a hard time throwing things because I'm afraid I'm going to throw the Oculus controller. I think it would be a neat product idea and I would definitely buy them. They should basically strap around the back of the hand or something or fit like a glove with an Oculus inside of it. Then you can strap it on and throw the hell out of it. It can look like a bicycle glove or just a strap that goes around the back of the hand.724Views0likes0CommentsIs anyone doing controller health and education research? As well as Hand-tracking?
TACTILE learning (hand learning) is key to Early Childhood Development. What a child grows up with as far as handheld objects (apples, bananas, cards, etc). Same is true for technology like controllers, keyboards, tablets. They change how neural networks are developed within the brain. Also, build muscle and forms musclememory (prioprerception). So should childrens' games have time limits and parental controls for that? And should they offer cross-platform-controller function/s to promote more body diversity? How would the software have to be configured to increase maximum benefit? Also, have to consider the differences in hand size as well as missing fingers, thumbs, or radiculopathy and other nerve conditions, etc. Not to sound Ageist, but isn't this a way to improve the present and future, even for the elderly? Hand-tracking for amputees and prosthetics? Add tags983Views0likes0Comments
