LZR[X] - Beta (Rocket League-like)
Hi all, I am building my first game, LZR[X} (pronounced LaserCrosse) on MHW and getting to grips with TypeScript, the API and development platform. Really loving it and the constraints that come with it (even the materials process) I am working towards an MVP and hoping to scale up to something akin to Rocket League. The premise is ice-hockey meets pinball with lasers in a Tron-like setting. The frame rate is being tested and the physics need some polish but it's up to a point where I am happy with making it public. I'd love some feedback. There's lot's to work on, but it's very much a project I'm keen to keep refining and growing. So very early days right now. You can check it out in the link below and hopefully I'll have some time to get some footage and screenshots together when I can round up some mates to help out. https://horizon.meta.com/world/1943738609728861/ or join the current event https://horizon.meta.com/event/24349525768011323/ If you want to keep in touch on LinkedIn, feel free to send me a connect request https://www.linkedin.com/in/sean-graham-7614bb82/10Views0likes1CommentMobile Genre Showdown Game Hub FINISHED

My entry into this contest. There are so many things I'd do differently, now that I've learned so much about what to do and not to do. Still, for my first game specifically in Meta Horizon and in typescript, I'm fairly happy with the outcome. There are so many moving parts to this one. Tons of code. I'll have to clean-up my architecture for the future, corners had to seriously be cut in the last week. 😅 Cheers to everyone else also submitting a world for this round! Best of luck to all! https://horizon.meta.com/world/10160524752977364/?locale=en_US https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_l7NaDMA7gI300Views12likes0CommentsThe Luminous Trial
Hi everyone! I’m working on a compact puzzle adventure world for the Meta Horizons Mobile Competition 2.0, and I’d love your feedback as I get closer to finishing it. It’s called The Luminous Trial, and it’s designed as a short, experience that works across mobile and desktop. You appear up at a temple entrance where light itself is the key to unlocking progress. Players solve a series of environmental puzzles using rotating mirrors, hidden switches, and levers to reveal the path forward. This world focuses on: Interactive Puzzles (beam puzzles, key doors, floor switches) Device-aware Inputs (focused drag for mobile/web) Atmospheric Design (custom camera angles, animations, and an AI greeter) Single-session play – Easy to complete in one sitting I'm looking for feedback on: Does it feel like an adventure game to you? For reference Genre Common Features Guidance for Mobile Competition 2.0 Would you prefer to get subtle hints, or do you like figuring things out solo? Do the mechanics feel smooth across devices? Any visual or UX improvements you'd recommend? Any other feedback you may have? I'm especially looking for mobile playtesters, but all feedback is welcome. If you're up for running through the world and helping break it a little, I’d love to hear from you. If you are interested in checking it out please use the links below. The Feedback Clone is a stable, “as-is” version if you want a consistent experience. The Development Build is the latest version I’m working on, it might include new features, but it may also be a little broken at times! I’d love to check it out and return the favour. Edit: Thank you to everyone who took the time to playtest and provide feedback on The Luminous Trial! I've just finalised my submission for the competition. I received a lot of thoughtful suggestions and have implemented many of the changes. The rest are in my backlog to revisit once the judging period wraps up. Hi everyone, I’d love to take part in the MHCP with this project: an endless zombie-themed tower defense game (currently in beta). The idea is to create a game full of action with minimal wait times. Any feedback is very welcome, thank you! https://horizon.meta.com/world/667060536051393/?locale=it_IT743Views5likes6CommentsProject 7 is public
"Project 7" is my first build using elements of Blender, TypeScript, and a Truck Load of 'Can Do' excitement. I'm hoping to get some good feedback as I intend to continue with this idea. Setting realistic goals is something I could use guidance with in all matters of Creating. Feel free to interrupt me in VR anytime. I'd love to talk with some of you directly anyway. Besides, it's faster and easier than typing. heh Thanks in advance for your time and thoughts. T00NAH642Views19likes7Comments
