Cannot complete Organization Verification by any method
Hello Support and everyone: We are a VR/MR game startup company from China, currently focusing on the development of Quest3 APP, we want to put our APP on the App Lab, but we have not been able to pass the "Organization Verification". When using the "Business Verification" method, the verification code will not be received, no matter email/phone/text message is the same, using the Chinese phone number/email address. When using the "Admin Verification" method, using all kinds of IDs, ID cards/passports/driver's licenses, you will receive an email saying "We can't use the ID you shared to verify your identity". I would like to ask if there are any Chinese developers who have similar problems and solutions, or can't pass the verification in China? Thank you.1.1KViews1like3CommentsUnable to create new Add-Ons on the Meta Quest Developer Dashboard
For several days now we've been unable to create new Add-ons. We've filled out the details, pricing and metadata, but the publish button never becomes clickable. We've successfully added new add-ons as recently as Nov 25th, but now it has stopped working. Anyone else?1.4KViews0likes1CommentCustomers cannot "GET" our app (App Lab)
From what I can understand, a Quest App is available by the app id link before being reviewed. This allows users to install the app from a direct URL rather than the AppStore. Our app is viewable on PC by the App Id link, and everything looks fine, except there is no GET button. Also, when the same URL is viewed on the Quest, a 404 error is displayed. Is the App Lab broken, or am I missing a setting somewhere? Now that the App is in a review state, there are no settings available to us for change. Strangely, the URL is viewable on PC but not the Quest. We want our app to be available to our users, precisely many schools anxiously waiting to use our app. Our previous app worked with Google Cardboard, and now the schools are migrating to the Quest. We are unable to give them our app because of this issue. We need to have our app used by students before the school year is complete. By not having this app available to students, this delay is robbing children of an educational experience that could shape their future with a career in technology.6.5KViews0likes11CommentsNo Reply from Oculus Support (2 months)
Hi, my name is Ariel. I have been having issues trying to contact the Oculus Support Team. I have created two tickets in which they both got a response saying they were assigned to Oculus Submissions Team. It's been 2 months already and I haven’t received a response back. If anyone has some advice that would be great - I am still not sure if it’s an issue on my end. I appreciate the help!1.1KViews1like0CommentsI cannot upload an apk with oculus developer hub (odh) and ovr-platform-util.exe command
I made an app on the oculus developer console (developer.oculus.com) and uploaded an apk (version 0.1) to two release channels: production (LIVE) and ALPHA. First, I could not upload an apk (version 0.2) from the "Upload" button on the oculus developer hub (odh). So, I tried it from "ovr-platform-util.exe" commant directly and successfully uploaded it and updated the app (v0.1 -> v0.2). But now, I cannot upload an apk (version 0.3) with no errors (see below). Hi There, We have just started running into a problem with adding new users to our release channels for a game that is in development. Through the developer dashboard we can add oculus account usernames appropriately, and our title will appear as downloadable when searched for through Oculus home. However, the download and installation fails when attempting to actually run it. The way that we have worked around this issue internally is to add the oculus account as a developer in our organization's member page, however we can't really do this when attempting to allow external partners and players. Has anyone else come across this issue with release channels? Is there a way to ensure a user can have access to a release channel for a game that is in development that does not involve adding them as a developer? Thanks very much! -Nate S.
