Wifi Still Disconnecting on Quest 3
Hi there. Like a lot of Quest 3 users on this forum and on Reddit, I too have problems with my Quest 3 disconnecting from the wifi every 15 to 20 minutes or so. I was hoping that the last three firmware updates would help. Meta had said that v67 has helped with this, but I'm still disconnecting. It's really frustrating when playing a game or while on the Bigscreen app. I've tried everything in addition to the new firmware updates - I've changed between ipv4 and ipv6 on my router, and I've erased the Quest OS and reinstalled everything multiple times. I've also rebooted my CenturyLink modem/router a couple of times. Nothing works. Is there anyone - including Meta support - that has any ideas on what to do now? Or is it possible that my headset is faulty and needs to be exchanged. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.13KViews1like49CommentsQuest 2 keeps disconnecting from WIFI
Quest 2 keeps dropping Wifi It's been a couple of weeks and HOURS of google searching and experimenting and it persist. I haven't timed it but it happens consistently every 5 minutes or so. Just long enough for me to load a game and join a server. Steps I have tried: Separate the 2.4ghz and 5ghz into different SSIDs Restart the Wifi Restart the Quest Enable the Experimental feature option Disable Wifi refresh in the settings. Verbally degrading the hardware and threatening to replace it Creating a Voodoo doll of Zuckerberg with hair clippings bought off ebay Wringing my hands in desperate anguish and screaming into the void. I have an ATT fiber router that's a foot away in the same room with clear line of sight. I have tried using different bands, 40/80/126 Please help. It's useless like this.Solved45KViews2likes70CommentsAir Link disconnects when headset is taken off
I use the Quest Pro daily for work and the air link app has been fantastic so far. But there is an annoying problem, whenever I place the headset on the dock for charging, the air link connection is broken off within minutes. My PC gives me an error saying it lost connection and cannot find the oculus device (even though it shows that it is connected and active on the Oculus app!). Now when I put on my headset again, I have to reconnect to the air link, go to oculus home, and then set up my monitors all over again. This is becoming a tedious process as I have to repeat this 10-15 times a day. If there is a simple fix for this, please let me know. If not, please improve the reliability of the air link connection927Views0likes0Comments
