Vanguard Charging Issue (Red flashing LED)
My new Meta Vanguard sunglasses (one day old) won't charge. I'm getting a constant flashing red LED, even though the case is fully charged (green LED). l've cleaned the contacts and tried a factory reset, but no change. Has anyone had this issue or found a fix?
Meta RayBan Speaker not working!
I just got these brand new gen 2 meta glasses. I opened them today and only the right speaker plays audio. The left speaker is dead. I tried force restarting and unpairing but still nothing. Is there any way to fix this? I dont want to have to return this because Im supposed to take this to a trip in a few days.
Meta Ray-Ban Display WhatsApp Issue
I'm getting a really annoying bug where, if I make a WhatsApp call from the visual interface on my glasses, the microphone won't activate until I unlock my phone. This doesn't happen with normal phone calls though. Anyone else have this or similar WhatsApp issues? For reference, I'm using a OnePlus Open with Android 15.
HDR no longer working on my Ray-Ban Meta Gen 1
Hey everyone, I’ve had my Ray-Ban Meta Gen 1 glasses for about three weeks now. During the first two weeks, my videos were definitely in HDR, I could even see the “HDR” tag in the video info on my phone after recording. But for the past few days, that tag no longer appears, and the videos look flatter and less dynamic. The recordings are still 1080p 60fps, so performance is fine, but the HDR part seems to have completely disappeared. Has anyone else noticed this recently? Could it be related to a firmware or app update? Or did Meta just remove HDR recording for Gen 1 users ?
Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 2) - Filming Landscape - How To Change The Options?
The sensor needs the option to switch between portrait and landscape filming. The Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 2) are incredible, stylish, smart, and genuinely useful but adding landscape filming capability would elevate them from great to revolutionary. It’s a small update that would make a huge difference for creators, vloggers, and professionals who think in widescreen. If the sensor had the ability to switch between portrait and landscape filming then this would make these glasses perfect. The technology inside is more than capable, the camera quality, stabilisation, and AI features are all there it just needs that small software or hardware tweak to unlock full creative freedom. Come on META - you know this right!
Camera light constantly on
I’ve had my metas for about a month now and for some reason when I connect and put them on the camera light turns on like a flashlight even when it’s not recording. It’s happened before and it went away after a couple hours but it came back on and it hasn’t turned off for about a day now. Even when I shut the glasses off and on the light will still come back on. Went to a Oakley store and they said they’ve never seen that issue and told me to contact support but it seems that my serial number for my glasses won’t work.Feature Request: Improve META AI readability on Ray-Ban and Oakley glasses
When you ask the glasses to read a document or any text, META AI summarizes it and describes its surroundings. My suggestion is that when Meta AI hears a reading prompt, it should read everything it can, and provide tips for adjusting the document to improve focus instead of describing everything in front of the glasses. META AI should describe everything around it only when prompted to describe what it is currently seeing. With these improved adjustments, the glasses will become much more useful for blind people.
