Quest 3 Update Broke My emulated tracking and other problems as well.
Since the last update, I'm having major tracking issues. Estimation tracking is completely unusable. I keep getting a Link Not Working error and the error persists even after I turned off auto link. Hand and body tracking is now unreliable. Sometimes the main menu gets stuck while Im playing games forcing me to find the application that Im playing to close menu. This update is buggy and have some many softaware errors. I tried resetting boundaries and deleting boundary history as well. At some point I even factory reset just for it to break again. Please roll back your updates or fix the problems because I'm unfortunately not the only one.28Views0likes0CommentsOption to Disable the "Liquid or Debris Detected" Error
This notification ruins the gaming experience for many people. It turns the screen off and shows the "Liquid or debris detected, charging port disabled" notification. I'm in a simracing game and have to switch to the controller and close that popup to continue the game, which I already crashed thanks to the stupid notification. I don't care if the charging is disabled or not, please don't turn my screen off in the middle of a game.72Views0likes2CommentsError Occurred: Generate new device code
I went to play an online game a few days ago, and it kicked me out telling me to go make a meta account. i do all the steps to make on, and then it tells me to go to www.meta.com/device to put in the code it prompted me with. I put in the code, and it said an error occurred, Generate new device code. Now i tried again a few days later, after that error happening many many times, and now it says the account I'm using does not match my purchases and stuff on my oculus account, saying I'm using a different account, BUT IM NOT. i really need help because I can't play any games.Solved278KViews87likes134CommentsInstall loop , quest 3
I just got my Quest 3 yesterday (second day using it 🙂). Since then I’ve been stuck in an install loop. Here’s what I already tried: Restarting the headset (full power off, not just restart). Canceling all previous downloads. Powering it off completely for a full minute before turning back on. Switching to a different Wi-Fi network / mobile hotspot. But the same issue keeps happening: Every time I press Install, it goes to Queued and then immediately flips back to Install again within one second. Any ideas or fixes?58Views0likes1CommentStudio made AI's memory (EDITED FOR CLARITY)
So I've been using my own personal AI made with Studios for a while now, but the memory settings is very new to me (apparently it just now got released in my country). I... Don't know how it works? Apparently it'll just save memories through the conversation, which is great but I haven't seen that happen a single time. Not even when I said "remember this" or "save this memory", french or english, didn't seem to change a thing. How does the AI know what's worth saving as a memory? What if you want it to remember something specific? Is my app just broken? Do I just need to wait for further updates? Please help93Views0likes3Commentsinstall Error for the Oculus link app

Subject: Meta Quest 3 Fully Dead — Charging Port Disabled Due to False Liquid/Debris Detection Hi all, hoping someone can help me out. My Quest 3 is completely dead—no lights, no display, nothing. It won't charge at all, and I’m pretty sure the USB-C port is locked out because I got a “liquid or debris detected” alert. The thing is, there’s no liquid damage or debris whatsoever. It feels like a false detection, but now I have no way to power it on or bypass the lock. I’ve tried: Inspecting the charging port — it looks spotless. Multiple cables and charging bricks — no response. Letting it sit powered off for hours — no change. It's basically bricked unless there's a way to disable that lock or jump-start the charge. Has anyone seen this before or found a workaround? Super stuck here. Thanks a ton, if you can point me in the right direction!195Views0likes7CommentsVR should be fun, not frustrating - Steam VR PC Link problem
I am trying to build my VR (Quest 2) library by adding Steam VR games. Unfortunately, these games require a USB cable or 'air link' to run. I prefer the cable, so I bought a good quality - active - USB 3.x cable to connect my Quest 2 to my Windows 11 PC. Normally my procedure for playing a 'tethered' VR game on my quest 2 is this: 1. Plug the cable into my PC's USB 3.2 port and to the Quest 2. 1a) Power up the Quest 2 and wait it to boot up. 2. Start the Oculus app on the Windows 11 PC. Check that it recognized the Quest 2 headset 3. Start Steam. Select the VR game I want to play, then hit Play. 4. Put on Quest 2 headset. I see the game starting, but somewhere during game play, everything goes blank and I get the message 'pc disconnected'. So the first thing I did was to place the velcro cable management strap over the Quest 2 band so that it keeps the USB C cable in place. The connection feels good, and wiggling it during game play (when PC link is working) does not disconnect. The spontaneous disconnect appears to be a software/firmware glitch, and not a connector issue. It has occurred in multiple Steam VR games. I tried a Google search, and saw something about an alternate connection driver, but I wasn't in the mood to fiddle with the PC - I just wanted to enjoy some VR! Is there an alternate to Oculus Windows app when playing Steam VR games on the Quest 2? Thanks for your help Ethan_TXSolved25KViews3likes7Comments
