Meta quest saying email is wrong on www.meta.com/device
Ive been trying to login to my headset but it keeps telling me the login to www.meta.com/device and I tried logging in but it's telling me my email is wrong, or it's not connected to any accounts which is a lie because it's connected to the account ik messaging on, I just need help with this it's making me madSolved121KViews59likes79CommentsAfter factory reset for troubleshooting I can't pair back to meta app it's stuck
Devices having issues (meta quest 2) (Samsung galaxy s23 ultra) I did a factory reset as was recommended to fix the problem of being stuck at 90% when trying to stream to phone. I did a factory reset for being stuck at the pairing screen so I went back to boot menu did another reset then did a side loader update and issue was not fixed. On my meta app my headset is still registered so I can't input the code to pair the headset again. I have Uninstalled and reinstalled several times and as well cleared the cache and data in the app. I have restarted my phone and my blue tooth. When I try and pair a new device I get stuck at "allow permissions" but I have given this app every single permission. I go to manage profiles and am given error 1675012. Now, I try and go another way by accessing my account on the website and it says no device is found or registered with this account for some unknown reason but it's still connected through my meta app. I have a warranty that is still valid and transaction history. I have looked into how to fulfill my warranty but as a device isn't registered on the website it seems I can not do it. It seems as if this whole process is connivingly convoluted on purpose to inundate people through excessive confusing menus. Screenshots will be included of the error screensSolved1KViews1like13CommentsMeta Quest 2 Bootloop issues

Brand new quest 3 just arrived, configured an everything was doing pretty well. Was just logging into a game when all tracking just stopped working, a window saying "Tracking lost" showed up, but I couldn't click anything since the controllers stopped working too, hand tracking also wasnt working. I tried cleaning up the cameras with a very soft towel, tried rebooting, resetting to factory settings, everything I could. The screen is either completely black, black with a dot or on the starting screen asking to turn on the controllers, but the screen just moves randomly and isn't following the headset movements at all. There is a white dot blinking on the left controller and they keep vibrating every few seconds.

Many Meta Quest 3 owners are experiencing the same serious issue after what appears to be a faulty firmware update. The headset starts normally, shows the Meta logo, then displays the down-arrow firmware symbol as if it’s updating. After that, the screen goes completely black and never turns back on. People have already tried every official fix that Meta recommends: Rebooting the headset. Performing a full hard reset using the power and volume buttons. Installing the manual firmware update through the Meta update tool on a computer. Even after completing all of these steps successfully, the headset remains unusable. The issue clearly points to a defective firmware update or a corrupted boot process caused by the update itself, not user error or damage. Some customers have received replacements, while others have been denied support because their device is out of warranty. That inconsistency is unacceptable. A firmware defect that originates from Meta should not depend on warranty status. This needs to be recognized as a widespread product issue. Meta should take responsibility, publicly acknowledge the problem, and provide free repairs or replacements to all affected customers. Everyone affected should post here and share: When the problem started and what update version it followed. Any videos or photos showing the black screen sequence. What Meta Support said or offered in response. If enough reports are collected, this could draw the attention of consumer protection agencies, the media, or legal firms willing to pursue a class action. The goal is not to complain, but to get a fair solution for everyone who has been left with a bricked headset due to a faulty update. This issue is not isolated. It’s widespread, and it needs to be addressed now.1.7KViews5likes11CommentsQuest 3S stuck in bootloader, cannot switch slot or boot
Hello, My Meta Quest 3S is completely stuck in bootloader/fastboot mode after switching the active slot. Details: The device was running fine on slot B. In the reboot menu there was a button to change slot, I switched to slot A. After switching, the system no longer boots. The slot change button disappeared from the reboot menu. Now every option in bootloader (Boot device, Recovery, Reboot) just reloads bootloader again I cannot boot into system or recovery at all. Fastboot info: current-slot: a slot-unbootable:a:yes slot-unbootable:b:no Bootloader locked (unlocked:no) fastboot --set-active=b FAILED (remote: 'Operation Not Permitted') So I am stuck in a bootloop and cannot switch back to slot B or boot into recovery. Could you please help me either force switch to slot B or provide a recovery image/software repair?1.3KViews1like13CommentsQuest 2 controllers not working
Both of my controllers will constantly not be able to be tracked or have any buttons work. They are connected and have a full battery but still nothing works. I've also tried reseting my headset and I am not sure what to do because I have tried every possible thing. If anyone knows what I can do to fix this please help me out.Solved27KViews0likes26CommentsQuest 2 App Launcher and System stuck in a bootloop on start-up
So basically I just started up my headset, it started up normally up until the passthrough appeared, every few seconds it would stop capturing and keep going in the direction the headset's tracking was going, stretching before it then begin capturing again, it then tried to boot the main launcher which failed each time, each time it failed the screen went black, still on though. I tried to see if a factory reset would fix it but no, that failed and it kept doing that thing now with the starting screen thing, it required the controllers so I grabbed those and started them, each time the screen did that going black thing the controllers disconnected and reconnected. I did try to use the online updater but it said my headset was 'unsupported'. I'm not sure what do to really, I tried to look it up but I kept getting results for different issues. I sure do hope it's just a software issue cause it was working fine last night. (another thing I forgot to mention is that I did have it plugged in to my pc all night, though the headset was off, hope that helps if that's relevant)44Views0likes0CommentsUnable to connect the controllers to my Meta Quest 3
I am unable to connect the controllers to my Meta Quest 3. I performed a factory reset on the headset, but the issue persists. I also attempted additional troubleshooting steps, including resetting the Quest 3 controllers using the correct button combinations: Right controller: Hold the A button and press the Home (Meta logo) button five times. Left controller: Hold the X button and press the Menu button five times. However, no orange or white light appeared, and the light did not change to blue during boot. Because the controllers are not pairing, the firmware update remains stuck at 0%, leaving me unable to complete the setup process.63Views0likes1CommentMy headset is stuck in a boot loop - Quest 2
Hi guys, My quest 2 has been working perfectly since i got in on 22nd of october. Now suddenly it will not boot up anymore. When I turn it on, it shows the oculus logo, stays there for a few seconds, then shuts down for a few seconds, and then shows the logo again, shuts down, logo, shuts down.... The only way I can really stop this, is by acessing the usb update menu on one of the loops and selecting "Power off". I have tried all the options and they do nothing. If I select "boot device", it starts the boot loop again as before. The same thing happens if I select "factory reset". Once I confirm that i want to factory reset it, it just goes back into the boot loop, and nothing else happens. So yes, i did try to factory reset it, but it just doesnt work. Any ideas and tips would be greatly apreciated.Solved47KViews1like42Comments
