Meta quest saying email is wrong on www.meta.com/device
Ive been trying to login to my headset but it keeps telling me the login to www.meta.com/device and I tried logging in but it's telling me my email is wrong, or it's not connected to any accounts which is a lie because it's connected to the account ik messaging on, I just need help with this it's making me madSolved50KViews42likes47CommentsScreen Lock Pattern changed with v81 update and broke lock pattern
Upon opening my Quest 3 this evening, I was prompted to create a screen lock, and I used the pattern lock, which presented me with a square grid of 9 dots. I entered a pattern, and then regretted it, and could not find where to reset the pattern. Right after that, the v81 update installed, rebooted the headset, and I was prompted to enter my pattern to unlock, but the grid was NOT the 3x3 square grid, but rather a rhomboid pattern with three dots in the top row, two in the center row, three in the bottom row, and no center dot. My lock pattern uses the center dot, and no matter how I try to match the simple pattern I used, nothing matches. I cannot use my phone app to unlock the Quest 3, I cannot get past the lock screen in the Quest 3, and I am told that there is no solution other than a factory reset.343Views2likes10CommentsLock pattern changed LOCKED OUT OF MY OWN META QUEST 3!
Hello team, hope this finds you well. Today a notification prompted that said to put a screen lock on, with different options i.e pin or pattern, i chose pattern. I set a lock pattern and turned my meta Quest 3 off. Upon turning it back on i find out that the lock pattern design has been changed completely from a 9 dot (basic unlock pattern) it changed to a octagonal shape thingy (I have attached a picture of the lock screen and the changed pattern design) Which only consists of 8 dots which can be seen in the picture, so its practically impossible for me or many others users having same issue to login with the pattern we set. The only option it has is forgot password, and the only thing we see once we click on it is a guide to factory reset the meta quest 3 because thats the only solution according to it. I request the team to work on this lock pattern bug and let us know ASAP if theres any solution to it. Hi everyone, I’m using a Meta Quest 3S running version 81.1034. My A-button works fine during setup and inside games, but it stops working in the main system UI/menu after the update. I’ve already tried unpairing/re-pairing controllers, rebooting, and even doing a factory reset — the issue remains the same. Has anyone else experienced this after updating to v81.1034? I’m trying to determine if this might be a new software bug or something specific to my unit. Devices having issues (meta quest 2) (Samsung galaxy s23 ultra) I did a factory reset as was recommended to fix the problem of being stuck at 90% when trying to stream to phone. I did a factory reset for being stuck at the pairing screen so I went back to boot menu did another reset then did a side loader update and issue was not fixed. On my meta app my headset is still registered so I can't input the code to pair the headset again. I have Uninstalled and reinstalled several times and as well cleared the cache and data in the app. I have restarted my phone and my blue tooth. When I try and pair a new device I get stuck at "allow permissions" but I have given this app every single permission. I go to manage profiles and am given error 1675012. Now, I try and go another way by accessing my account on the website and it says no device is found or registered with this account for some unknown reason but it's still connected through my meta app. I have a warranty that is still valid and transaction history. I have looked into how to fulfill my warranty but as a device isn't registered on the website it seems I can not do it. It seems as if this whole process is connivingly convoluted on purpose to inundate people through excessive confusing menus. So i am trying to get the Meta Quest 3 initial setup completed. The device is connected to the Meta Horizons app, but on the headset it will only display the "Finish Setup in Meta Quest Mobile App" dialog. Am i missing something? I have done several factory resets and let it update to no avail. Im not seeing any notification or prompts in the app either. I bought my quest new and it arrived today it was working fine out of the box but seemingly randomly a couple hours into use the screen went black and when I tried to charge it the light indicating charging wouldn’t light up when I plugged it in. I’ve tried a different cord and different outlets but nothing seems so be working. I’m sure it can’t be out of battery because it was at 50% before it black screened and said so in the app. When I tried rebooting it or factory rebooting it nothing happened no display no noises either and I literally just got it out of the box hours ago and set it up and it was working fine I can’t understand what I did wrong. The only thing I can think it could be was I set and reset my boundaries multiple times and I’ve heard of that messing with battery but I can’t understand why the charging light isn’t turning on when I plug it in or what to do about it. Hello Team, I am writing to report a critical issue with my Meta Quest 2. The Issue: When I power on the device, the Meta/Oculus boot logo appears as normal. However, once the logo fades, the screen goes completely black. The backlight is on (the screen is glowing black, not off), but no menus, guardian, or controllers appear. After a short time it goes in Standby despite the headset still being worn. The headset plays the startup sound, with the logo but there is no visual output afterwards. Steps Attempted: I have already attempted a "Hard Factory Reset" via the bootloader menu (Power + Volume Down). The reset process completed successfully, but after rebooting, the device returned to the same black screen state. Meta Quest 2 when attempting to boot shows the logo and plays the sound but nothing shows on the screen when pressing the volume up and down buttons the audio volume slider pops up and will be adjusted in accordance to the button pressed also the user select screen pops up but when attempting to select continue the white dot for selecting will keep auto centering also the user select screen keeps disappearing and reappearing and floating inn from opposite sides of screen, I was only able to select the continue button once before recentering when I did the screen was all black (not power off black but still on) occasionally the screen would play the meta sound and flash whit but then would return to all black. Also the controllers would blink white and vibrate. I attempted to side load a update when that did nothing I factory reset it but to no avail for the issue persisted just without the user select screen showing up. Ok to begin with, this is my brothers Quest 2 and the issue started with the pin login, where he couldnt login at all due to the controllers not being picked up by the headset AND the headset itself not tracking, i tried to reboot it multiple times before to no avail, which lead me to factory resetting it. Now it's stuck in an bootloop. I've used the Meta Quest Software Update tool to try to fix it, which it did not manage, it is still stuck in an bootloop and now im trying to drain its battery and refill it in hopes it will fix it, and i doubt it will.
