Meta raybans displays do not disconnect Bluetooth when off face and in case charging.
Just received glasses in noticing that well they’re in the case charging my Bluetooth on my phone (iPhone) has not disconnected. I have the setting on that. It should be disconnecting when I remove them so that’s not working. I’ve tried toggling that on and off still the same even turning Bluetooth on and off it’s reconnecting despite the glasses are in the case charging that should not be happening, especially in the case it should just be a given if they’re charging Bluetooth should not be connected as they can’t even be worn on your face and charge. I manage a team a field service technicians who constantly use their phone for the camera to take before and after photos of projects. If they had AI safety glasses they could say hey meta take a photo without the need to stop working and get their phone out to get a picture. I would love to see safety glasses incorporate AI technology to maximize work efficiency. It seems Meta Ray-Ban Display won't delete photos and videos I took after importing them into my phone like the other non-display models do. I can still see the media in the Photos app of the glasses themselves. I need to delete them one by one in the glasses, which takes a lot of time and effort. Is there any way to empty the space with just a few clicks or delete them in a selected group? Yes. They are charged to 100. In the app before “forget device” from Bluetooth list as I wanted to reconnect them. Charging case plugged and unplugged type c cables 3-5 times quickly to reset. Glasses. The common turn it of hold the shutter and turn on trick that works every other time does not. Matter of fact no leds flash. Only time now that it flashes ANY color is a white light while it’s inside the glasses and only while holding the shutter button. Blinking white light. Glasses inside the case. Lid open. Holding shutter button. I’ve watched many videos. Nothing has worked. I stopped using them 3 days ago. Yesterday I pulled them back out. Didn’t work. Thought maybe they didn’t charge. Nope. Not the issue. No lights on glasses. When I dock back into glass case for charge steady orange light comes on. Then disappears after 10 seconds or so. Hello, Quest 3 feedback suggestion: Allow option for internal speakers to work with 3.5mm or bluetooth headphones connected. Reason: For devices such as the Woojer haptic feedback vests, straps or subwoofers, you cannot use the built in speakers due to connecting these either via the 3.5mm jack or bluetooth. Adding this as an option would not hurt anything, heck you could even add a pop-up to note that this setting has been changed and where to find it each time something is connected. Advantage: There would then be no need to use additional headphones when wearing a haptic vest, haptic strap or when using a subwoofer. I found a pair of Meta glasses at the beginning of the year, and I would like to find the owner. I'm just not sure how at this point. I've tried contacting support and the automated chat said it'd send the info I have to the support team. But is there any other way someone might know of to find the owner information with the glasses? im a tour guide, so i mostly have people out of state/country on my tours so posting on local forum could be a dead end. I am in a location where a lot of locals visit, the spot they were makes be believe it was someone who took my tour but I contacted all of them and no one said they forgot anything. Hello, I am still on version 18 for my Meta display. As an electrician, that works with their hands, I purchased the Meta Ray band displays with the intent to fill my work with the hyper lapse feature, as well as the slow motion feature. As I understand it, only half of the owners of Ray ban meta displays or Ray Bay metas have the hyper lapse feature available. This is fine, although, I am unable to respond to text by drawing on my leg as well. When I purchased these glasses, I was told that they would be updated regularly by Meta. Now I am concerned that Meta will not be updating the glasses, but rather release new glasses instead of working with what they already have. Is there any timeline for any updates? I really do enjoy the style and the idea of the glasses, but very few of the features that were advertised to me are even available. I create content daily, and I have to bring my videos into an editor in order to speed them up. I would really like to do this native of the glasses. The other issue at hand is that when I purchased the glasses, upon taking video using the Zoom feature with my hand would work great! Although now when I use the Zoom feature, you can see my hand turning in the video to Zoom and in the display it shows that it is zooming, but in the saved video there is no zoom at all. I check my glasses and Meta AI app daily in search for an update, unfortunately, in my time of owning these there has not been any. I would like to at least see Meta work on the battery management system of these glasses at the very least. I can have as much as 50% battery on my glasses, although from time to time it will tell me that battery is too low and captures disabled. Also Meta you have removed the option to live stream from my glasses. So Meta, my questions to y’all is well. The features that were advertised to us ever be available? Is there a timeline for any updates? And can any timeline be shared? Will you be working on making these glasses better, or will these glasses be obsolete in the next few months for a new version of glasses? I really do think the glasses are a great idea in concept, although without any of the features advertised, they seem to be a paperweight to me. There is a lot of potential here, and I do my best to use them daily, and I would like to genuinely integrate these glasses into my everyday life, but unfortunately, I am unable to do that at this point with ease. I’d like to be of help in any way possible, I have paid a little under $1000, for glasses with features that aren’t or may not ever be available.
