Allow option for internal speakers to work with headphones connected / 3.5mm / BT
Hello, Quest 3 feedback suggestion: Allow option for internal speakers to work with 3.5mm or bluetooth headphones connected. Reason: For devices such as the Woojer haptic feedback vests, straps or subwoofers, you cannot use the built in speakers due to connecting these either via the 3.5mm jack or bluetooth. Adding this as an option would not hurt anything, heck you could even add a pop-up to note that this setting has been changed and where to find it each time something is connected. Advantage: There would then be no need to use additional headphones when wearing a haptic vest, haptic strap or when using a subwoofer. Headphones can be cumbersome or not even possible to use with most VR headstraps. Many thanks for listening.57Views2likes4CommentsRay-Ban Meta Gen 1: Sweat Damage Issue
Hi everyone! Just sharing my experience with the Ray-Ban Meta Gen 1. This is my third pair because sweat keeps damaging them on hot days—I’m a landscaper and sweat a lot. Hopefully this feedback helps for future hardware. Love the product. —Bruno32Views3likes0CommentsDear God Help Me. OVR Refusing To Work.

Just received glasses in noticing that well they’re in the case charging my Bluetooth on my phone (iPhone) has not disconnected. I have the setting on that. It should be disconnecting when I remove them so that’s not working. I’ve tried toggling that on and off still the same even turning Bluetooth on and off it’s reconnecting despite the glasses are in the case charging that should not be happening, especially in the case it should just be a given if they’re charging Bluetooth should not be connected as they can’t even be worn on your face and charge. Clearly a bug has most recent update not a good first experience. How do we resolve?140Views0likes4CommentsAge restrictions. I am over the age of 18.
Age restrictions. I am over the age of 18. For some reason meta will not let me join "Meta World Hardy Spades" it's showing an error message of "You can't visit this world It's rated ages 18+, so you won't be able to visit until you turn 18." I contacted meta and tried to reapply my birth date. It's still not working. Also the meta help is showing an error. The only way I could contact them is through web browser79Views0likes7CommentsHDR no longer working on my Ray-Ban Meta Gen 1
Hey everyone, I’ve had my Ray-Ban Meta Gen 1 glasses for about three weeks now. During the first two weeks, my videos were definitely in HDR, I could even see the “HDR” tag in the video info on my phone after recording. But for the past few days, that tag no longer appears, and the videos look flatter and less dynamic. The recordings are still 1080p 60fps, so performance is fine, but the HDR part seems to have completely disappeared. Has anyone else noticed this recently? Could it be related to a firmware or app update? Or did Meta just remove HDR recording for Gen 1 users ?150Views0likes2CommentsFeature request: Allow to chose if read the new connected devices
I've using Rayban Meta Wayfarer gen 2 for a couple of months, and I use the glasses as a bluetooth audio device for my Macbook, every day in the office when I connect the Macbook via bluetooth, the glasses always read the device name, very loudly, like "The audio has been connected to Abraham Macbook", when is playing this audio, the volume can't be adjusted. It would be a huge quality of life update if I just can select on the app, every time I connect to a new device, just play some sound effect or just a blue led blink, but without reading every time the name of the device. If I connect to my Macbook and I forgot to low the volume first, every teammate of my department would also know I have successfully connected my glasses to my computer. Anyone on the same boat as me?106Views1like2CommentsVOICE DROPS OUT WHEN USING HANDS FREE
I got my Gen 1 glasses a few weeks ago. For context, I am a rural physician and originally bought them so that I could visually communicate with specialists during an emergency (and still provide hands on care). Unfortunately, when I use the glasses for hands free talking, it keeps dropping my voice. I was doing a dictation at work and when I listened back to it, the voice drop out was significant. At first I thought it might relate to a setting that automatically adjusts for background noise. So I repeated part of the dictation with my colleagues remaining silent. Still dropped out. It happened again when I called into my ER. This is a significant flaw, especially when “hands free” is a key selling point. It’s frustrating enough that these glasses don’t communicate properly with iPhones, especially in my line of work. But to not be able to communicate effectively, is making me advise others against purchasing a pair.42Views0likes4Comments
