Allow option for internal speakers to work with headphones connected / 3.5mm / BT
Hello, Quest 3 feedback suggestion: Allow option for internal speakers to work with 3.5mm or bluetooth headphones connected. Reason: For devices such as the Woojer haptic feedback vests, straps or subwoofers, you cannot use the built in speakers due to connecting these either via the 3.5mm jack or bluetooth. Adding this as an option would not hurt anything, heck you could even add a pop-up to note that this setting has been changed and where to find it each time something is connected. Advantage: There would then be no need to use additional headphones when wearing a haptic vest, haptic strap or when using a subwoofer. Headphones can be cumbersome or not even possible to use with most VR headstraps. Many thanks for listening.206Views3likes5CommentsMy wish list as a visually disable individual
I wasn't sure where to post this as there isn't a feedback section so I hope this is ok. I'm visually disabled, I have a forum of macular degeneration. Unfortunately, it cannot be corrected with the use of corrective lenses. I purchased the Quest 3 in the hopes that it would function as an assistive device, for games too of course. This device has so much potential that I think it could be life altering for many individuals including myself. I know it can be difficult to predict the needs of someone when you cannot experience their reality so I would like to share my experience. Having had some time with the device I have a wish list of things that I think could greatly improve the accessibility of this device and aid people in their daily lives. The ability to zoom in while looking through the headset. Even just a static screen zoom would be a game changer but having an AR zoom where you can open zoomed in windows of various points in space would be amazing. Something like a magnifier window that lets you point at things to magnify. Remove or give the option to disable the behavior where UI menus and windows go white when you get too close to them. For myself, I can only read things when they are close enough or very large and things go white just as I'm starting to be able to see them. Here is a photo of what I mean, credit to steve_40 for the photo. Make all UI elements moveable closer to you. For example, when you start a game sometimes there are little windows giving you instructions. These are tiny and difficult to see, even my wife who has good eyes says she has a hard time seeing them. This is also true for in game/app menus. Make them all movable or static in space so you can get closer to them. This could also be improved with a magnifier. Great control over font and icon sizes. As is, the font size options offer negligible difference in font size. The ability to set font as big as you like would be very helpful. Also, the ability to change font/background colors to suit your needs would be good. The icons on the task bark are also quite small, being able to make them larger would be helpful. Things like being able to make font bold or choose the font face would be beneficial The pointer lines help but they are a bit too fine, faint and fade out too quickly. Give people the option to change the line thickness, brightness, color and falloff. Another options that would go hand in hand with the magnifier window would be to change contrast/black and white/invert colors etc. An ultimate wish would be for a visually disable mode where you virtually interact with your world. Things are automatically made easier to see, you can fluidly zoom in on things and have all these options be integrated into your environment. Change how people interact with their reality. I'm sure there are other things which I have not thought of yet but this feels like it could greatly improve the lives of people with certain visual disabilities.I truly hope that the potential for this device to change peoples lives is someday realized.34Views2likes2CommentsLocked out of main account. 2FA SMS not sending, Authenticator option missing
Hello Meta Support Team and Community, I am writing from a secondary account because I am completely locked out of my main account, which holds all my game purchases and history. The Issue: I am stuck in a verification loop. When I try to log in on PC or the Mobile App, the system asks for an SMS code. However, I am not receiving any SMS codes despite multiple attempts over the last 24 hours. Technical Details: Missing 2FA Option: I have previously set up an Authenticator App, but the login screen (auth.meta.com) does not show the dropdown menu to switch from "SMS" to "Authenticator App". It forces SMS verification, which is broken. "Too Many Attempts": Due to retrying, I am now getting a "Too many attempts" error. Support Block: When I tried to contact support via WhatsApp using the provided number, my number was automatically flagged/blocked by the bot, so I cannot open a ticket there. Proof of Ownership: My Meta Quest headset is currently logged in and working with this account. I have access to the email address associated with the account. I can provide the Headset Serial Number and previous purchase receipts via Private Message. Request: Please open a support ticket for me or provide a way to disable 2FA temporarily so I can regain access and fix my security settings. I simply need to bypass the broken SMS verification. Thank you for your help. [edited for privacy - this is a public forum]63Views1like2CommentsDear God Help Me. OVR Refusing To Work.

Feature Suggestion: GPT Integration for Meta Quest (VR Assistant AI) > Idea: Enable full or partial ChatGPT integration within Meta Quest headsets (especially Quest 3) to act as an immersive, conversational AI assistant, companion, or game master in virtual reality. --- Use Cases: Immersive Companion Mode: Appear as a 3D avatar or audio-only guide in a virtual space. The AI could help narrate stories, engage in real-time RP, or act as a persistent companion—like a living AI roommate. Game Master & Dice Systems: Ideal for DnD-style experiences or narrative games. The assistant could roll dice, react to user choices, and create interactive storylines live in VR. Productivity & Media Assistant: Read articles aloud, explain content on screen, or provide commentary in VR spaces. Hands-free guidance while exploring the metaverse. Creative Visualization: Collaborate with the AI to build or visualize 3D environments, characters, music video scenes, or writing prompts right within the Quest workspace. --- Requirements (optional for devs): Integration via custom app, VR overlay, or virtual desktop-style tool 3D avatar and voice synthesis compatibility Dice-rolling API or game logic modules Personality persistence or local memory for long-term companion potential Limited system permissions for headset interaction or content recognition--- Why It’s Valuable: VR is lonely without presence. ChatGPT in VR can be more than just a tool—it can be an emotional and creative force. This could revolutionize narrative gaming, productivity, and AI-human interaction in immersive spaces. And let’s be honest—people want their assistant to feel real.194Views3likes1CommentAdding more concerts, discussions, advices app
Can you add more concerts like Ari Lennox, Alex Isley, Lucky Daye, Usher or Janet Jackson. Also can there be rooms for discussion about R&B music, discussions on relationships and giving advices on relationships, life, work, friendships, dating or family.18Views0likes0CommentsEmoji Sounds
Could you please make emojis have sound? Within a few seconds of opening a message that has an emoji, depending on what emoji, it makes a sound for that emoji. For example, 😳 “whoa”, 😢 “sniff”, 😉 “clicking sound”, 😬 “sucking air through clenched teeth, 🤮 (the sound is obvious on this one), and so on. I think most emojis would have a sound. Now every time you get an emoji good luck not hearing a sound in your head. I think this is an awesome idea and I think people would use this often.48Views0likes0CommentsPTC v67 Release Thread
