Make your voices heard and save modding!
The latest public test channel update PTC V63 locks scoped storage meaning those who mod games like bonelab will be unable to manually mod their games. While some games are starting to work on built in mod managers it still doesn't make meta locking scoped storage okay! Worst thing is multiple games have experienced save data loss. I stand with modders and the dev of mobile vr station against this update. Please for the sake of all modders far and wide stand up and make your voices heard! Show meta your unhappy with this update rather it be posting your anger on twitter facebook or anything else. Do something because if this update rolls out with this feature still preventing people from modding. then it may aswell be the end of modding all together.625Views1like0Comments"Unknown Sources" files seem to have disappeared from Quest
I built a few projects in Unity a few months back, installed on my Quest, was able to use them just fine after I enabled developer mode. It seems that developer mode is still enabled (I have a developer tab, the option to turn it on isnt' in settings, I get an option to view a Developer Feed instead of regular feed etc.). But, there is no longer an Unknown Sources submenu in the Apps menu. When I go into Storage, I don't see them under Apps either. I definitely haven't uninstalled anything or deleted anything from my Quest. I have purchased new apps over the past few weeks but there is plenty of storage space left. I know there's been some updates. Only settings I've changed recently was to enable handtracking and voice. Did Oculus nonconcensually delete my files?776Views0likes0Comments
