Black screen on township tale
Hello, My Meta Quest 3 is fully functional and logged into my Meta account, but the system does not recognize my headset. Because of this: The support portal says I have no devices I cannot submit a ticket or use chat/callback A Township Tale instantly black screens on launch, even after: Factory reset Reinstalling the game Verifying other games work My details: Headset: Quest 3 Issue persists despite 3 years of using this headset on this account and having account for 5-6 years Please escalate this to the backend team and attach my device to my account, so I can access purchased apps. Where are the 3D movies!
Seriously—there’s now a dedicated “TV” app with a movie section, including a couple of 3D trailers for Avatar, yet there’s no section for 3D movies at all. What kind of dropped ball is this? I should be able to open that app, select 3D movies as a main option, and watch The Super Mario Bros. Movie in 3D on my Quest 3. VR is perfect for 3D movies—so how is this still not nailed in the Meta/Quest/Horizon/TV experience? when making a boundary that you should stay in, you should be able to change the height of it so it is not in the way of your face and you know where certain furniture is depending on the height and not being a wall so it is easier to not hit stuffRoblox crashing (read more)
My Roblox keeps crashing every 5-15 minutes even though I have good internet and a meta quest 3 and I know it’s capable because I used to play Roblox Vr on my meta quest 2 before I got my quest 3. If anyone knows what’s wrong please help because I love playing Roblox Vr and just messing around with people.
Unable to use Quest Cash or add any credit cards
Hello! I am CrimsonWinterr, and I would like to share how I cannot add any credit cards (I have none on my Quest account as of now.) nor use my Quest Cash. It says to file an appeal, but it doesn’t send an e-Mail to file one, whenever many sources say it should. It says it is for my own security- when it is on my account, on my headset? This is unbelievable. It does not say there is one single strike to my account that prevents me from doing so! Please fix this instantly if you read this, Meta.Split the app lab store again
Dear Meta, This is not a small request, but it has become a significant problem. I have no issue at all with supporting small creators and encouraging them to add their games to the store. However, not long ago, those games were placed in a separate section, the “App Lab.” Now all of these games have been added alongside the regular titles, and the store is filled with cheesy AI slop. It’s genuinely off-putting to browse. I appreciate that you’re trying to make the UI look more advanced in the latest firmware, but if you allow the app store to be flooded with low-budget, extremely uninviting games, new users who are unaware that these two stores have been merged won’t think, “Wow, there are so many new games.” They’ll think, “Why are there so many awful games?” My honest reaction was: “Meta has given up. They’re going bankrupt, and this is a last-ditch effort to make the library look actively updated.” Please, for the love of god, do not ever mix these games with regular titles again. There should be a button that says “Show community games,” and new users should be made aware that they can enable it, but it should absolutely not be enabled by default. That would be a huge mistake. Right now, it just looks horrid. What happened to the Ouya? The exact same thing. Their final move was to flood the store with cheap slop to make it look full again, and then they went bankrupt. Do you actually want VR to grow? A lot of people have heard of VR and only tried mobile VR cardboard. But when I show them the Quest, they’re immediately hooked. Get more local stores to run demos. Let high schools get involved with VR, those are the target group. But for the love of god, don’t overflow your app store with soulless games in a desperate effort to boost sales. And off-topic: thankfully, you re-enabled APK installation again, thank you for that. I love tinkering with my device. If you’re afraid of losing game sales due to piracy, implement better security checks so ripped games won’t run. But don’t take away the freedom to install HLVR mods, Quake, or other 2D APKs. Those apps are what make the Quest twice as exciting. Anyway, I really hope you reconsider this. It has gotten so bad that I’m buying fewer games simply because I can’t find the good ones anymore. Bobber Bay shop not working
I've been trying to get the purchase screen in the shop to pop up but have yet to get it to work. I've been playing the game for about a week and have caught most of the fish at Bobber bay but can't access the store to buy anything. Anyone know of a way to get past this? I see it's been an issue for some time now and I know it works for some people.
