Hi there, i noticed a "feature" with the newest Oculus Software (14) update. This however only occurs when also connecting my laptop via HDMI to TV in conjunction with Oculus Link connection. This setup makes a Virtual Desktop Window flicker on every movement of the touch controllers making it unusable. Unplugging my TV from HDMI solves the problem. However it would be nice to have it work as it was before the update. Can you reproduce the issue and is this a known thing ? Also maybe there is a workaround.3.9KViews1like2CommentsHeadset isn't detected (No HDMI connection while it is)
All another things is ok. In Device Manager (or something like that) Oculus Rift headset is defined as "ACER S271HL". I try to click "update driver" in Device manager and it's become "Universal not-PnP Monitor", but Oculus program still can't find HDMI connection2.1KViews0likes10CommentsCan't connect my cv1, HDMI WRONG?
Specs off the bat: GTX 1060 NVidia driver 445.87 W10 with all most recent updates Sorry for my English. Well, first of all I want to comment that I have seen other discussions with the same specifications and I see that they have similar problems to mine. When connecting the hdmi and 3.0 cable from the headset to the PC it does not detect it well. My headsets reproduce a steady orange light blinking and a white light blinking twice as strong. Well, when I connect the cables, the USB 3.0 recognizes it, which gives it power, but the HDMI I don't think so, although in the software it does say ''yes''. It is strange, and above this message appears, it don't connect: Help I don't know what to do and I want to use my oculus rift now.772Views0likes2CommentsWhat is the best adaptor for Oculus Rift S
Recently got my Oculus Rift S and enjoying it. However, my GPU only has 1 Display Port which I need for my monitor in supporting G-Sync. Therefore, I have this issue where whenever I want to put the Rift on I'm having to: - Unplug Display Port to monitor. - Connect HDMI to monitor. - Connect Display Port to Rift S. Can someone recommend the most appropriate adaptor for the Oculus Rift S to change Rift's Display Port to HDMI? Also, will using an adaptor result in any performance or graphical changes to the Rift? Good evening, I have a problem with my oculus rift and my new graphics card. I had a gtx970ssc evga and it works flawless. I was given a 1080ti zotac Amp edition and now the hdmi of my helmet is no longer detectable. I first thought that it came from hdmi port so I buy hdmi to port display adapter and test the different port, but nothing so I turned to power supply problem ! I had a 550w corsair and try a 750w corsair identical to that person who provided me with the graphics card, and with whom it worked very well with its VIVE and its triple monitor. I tested 3 version of different nvidia driver and 2 version of oculus home and always the same result ! I have no more idea to resolve this problem and would like to know if you have any clues to solv it. I put back my 970 and my helmet is detected at the first try ! Thank you in advance for your help and good night to you and play well.860Views0likes2Comments
