Disappointed With Headphone Implementation
The built-in headphones are a significant upgrade from the Quest, but I am frustrated at the lack of a decent solution for external headphones. Strapping two devices to your head is definitely a step backwards. I have the official Oculus headphones for my Quest and they are decent and make easy to take the headset on and off. I have come up with a solution for my Quest 2 that works, it is another kludge. Why can't I have an out-of-the-box solution that doesn't make me feel like that poor kid in high school that had black tape on his glasses? This is a second generation product. It should either come with a decent solution or have an add on that makes it feel like it is designed for the product.7.4KViews0likes28CommentsHeadphone Issue - Audio out of one side
I have a new Quest 2 256GB, and sometime over the last two days the headphone jack putting out audio for my right ear. I believe it was working well before, but I did not really test it since so far I've used it 99% on the speakers. The speakers work fine, get audio from both sides, its just the headphones that only have sound out of one side. Anyone else seeing this issue? Is there a setting I am missing?11KViews3likes8Comments[Rift S] Headphone jack glitching
Hello, As of today the headphones jack of my Rift S started breaking down. It still somewhat work but if I put the slightest ammount of pressure on it I loose sound in my left ear. It is still under warranty so I'll probably try to get it replaced... The problem is that the original foam on the facial interface started fall apart a couple months ago. Therefore I replaced it with some velcro and used it with velcro. So the question is, could Oculus support be real d*** and use my facial interface as an excuse to refuse me support ?1.6KViews0likes1CommentHow do I get my headphone mic to work while connected to my Rift S?
About 3 months after I bought my Rift S, the mic stopped working. I always had my headphones connected to it but the mic on it doesn't work when it's connected to my Rift S. The audio works perfectly though. Does anyone know a way to get my headphone's mic to work while it's connected to my Rift S?397Views0likes0CommentsQuest - V16 - Experimental Bluetooth Headphones Stuttering
So I have a question: I initially had a solution where you could get into the bluetooth pairing via some modifications of the software. But now as it is nativly supported, I expected at least, that someone would have fixed the major issue with app stuttering .. especially noticable in Beatsaber, while Bluetooth is active. Will there be any fix soon, or has anyone a solution to this? I dont have real cable headphones anymore, and the ones from the smartphone are not really useful as they pop out on too much movement. So it is really a mandatory feature to be able to use bluetooth headset for games like Beatsaber, or Pistol Whip in my oppinion. Maybe someone knows better?708Views0likes0CommentsBest 7.1 surround sound budget headphone for Quest
I've been searching a review, article etc on the web for days but can't find one which specifically states the best/recommended headphone for Quest. I even can't find a discussion about headphone for Quest here (as far as I scrolled down the topics). I know that Quest has built in speaker but I want better experience with surround headphones. I prefer 7.1 virtual surround around $60-80$. Based on all articles I read, surround sound only works for PC. Is that correct? Appreciate your help.5.6KViews0likes9CommentsDo Headphone with flip to mute with Oculus Quest?
Hello, I am wondering how i can use my headphones (Atsro A40) with my oculus quest. I want to use these headphone for audio and microphone. i know the quest has a built in mic but my main issue is that the quest microphone picks up all audio. whereas the astro a40 headphone have a flip to mute option where i can mute myself in games. this is so important for me. as my house is loud and i dont want my quest mic picking up background noise. especially in games such as VRchat where user can hear all audios. also is there a way to mute the build in quest mic?1.5KViews0likes2Comments
