Oculus 2 Game Audio Isn't Working
I've had my Oculus 2 for quite some time now, but recently I haven't been able to use it to play any games. When in the main hub the audio works fine coming out of the device, but the moment I open steam and try playing any of my games like I would before such as Beat Saber and BOXVR the audio stops working. If I look on my pc I am able to see that it says "Steam Link Audio is disabled one or more steam streaming audio endpoints are disabled" I have gone through all of my computer's settings to make sure everything is enabled and that I have the computer set to the correct audio output when playing, steams settings, meta quest phone and computer app, and the oculus's settings themselves and nothing works. I have even factory reset my Oculus to see if that would fix it, but no. I've also tried connecting wirelessly and wired to the PC How can I fix this??19Views0likes2CommentsCan`t connect Meta quest 2 AIR LINK

This post is my last-ditch effort to get this thing to work. I've owned this old-school Oculus Rift S for years and it's worked without an issue until a few weeks ago. I stopped using it for a few months and decided to boot it back up, but now Meta Quest Link says there is either no DisplayPort connection or that the DisplayPort connection isn't working. I did not change any hardware on my computer. I've tried repairing/reinstalling the Meta Quest Link app, updating my drivers, rolling back drivers, and changing the connection to every combination of USB port and DisplayPort possible. I've scoured the internet for solutions and nothing works. I tried opening a support ticket with Meta, but somehow, this device I've used for years isn't on my Meta account and I cannot open a ticket unless I have a device on my account, even though I can see the device and serial number in Meta Quest Link. Even if I was able to get a ticket through, I've heard nothing but bad things about Meta's customer support and doubt they'd be able to help me. I heard that you can get a replacement cable that sometimes works, but Meta doesn't make them anymore and a lot of second-hand ones are either fake or don't work either. I know the Oculus Rift S is a lost ancient artifact by today's standards, so I was considering upgrading to a Quest 3 once I had disposable income, but this hellish experience in trying to get my product to simply function is really badly turning me off from wanting to try any Meta products ever again. I'm instead considering paying extra and getting that new HTC headset that released last year. Please, if anybody has a solution to get this old thing to work, I'll greatly appreciate it.866Views0likes34CommentsTWD: Saints And Sinners hardly playable.
I recently just bought the game after watching The Walking Dead, one of my now new favorite shows. I was very excited to play the game, as it downloaded pretty quickly. I decided I should play the tutorial, so I did, and I got through with no issues whatsoever. Until I actually started the game. The game opens up with a scene with an old man and a campfire. He says his lines, but then the game crashes. At first, I though it was part of the game, since it was just a black screen, but I realized the game was no longer running. I tried it a few more times, and decided to look it up. I see a lot of people who have the same issue I’m having, but none are getting any help. I decided that I’d just uninstall the game, wait a little bit, and reinstall it. After it was done, I got back in, and it happened once more. I uninstalled, this time, RESTARTED my headset. I reinstalled it afterwards, and the issue persisted. I’m lost. I’m sure I’m missing something, but I don't have a clue on what it is. I spent over $30 on a game based on a show I love, and am not willing to give it up. Please help!100Views1like5CommentsOculus Quest Link gives a black screen when I open my Desktop
I've read many articles, posts, and websites about this issue. Everything says to "set OVRServer_x64 to Power Saving mode." I've done that multiple times. I've also re-installed the Oculus app, twice. I've re-downloaded all my NVIDIA and AMD drivers. I have no clue what to do. Quest link worked a week ago, now it doesn't. I can add desktop panels, and use them, but I can't see my desktop. Any help would be appreciated. ------------------- My specs: Operating system: Microsoft Windows 11 Home (10.0, Build 22631) Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 7700 8-Core Processor 8/16 Motherboard: ASRock B650M-C RAM: 32 GB Graphics card1: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti (8 GB) Graphics card2: AMD Radeon(TM) Graphics (512 MB)Solved43KViews4likes42CommentsMeta Quest 3S will not charge
Hi, I have seen other posts regarding this issue and I have tried the Power button and volume down button for 30s+, nothing happens. I have tried contacting support, but even though in the Meta Horizons app, the MetaQuest3S shows up in my devices, it does not in the browser, and when I give the ChatBot my SN, it says it cannot be verified, and I did triple check, and I checked the SN in the app on the device and am using that same one. So, since i purchased it from BestBuy in June and not through MetaStore, the bot is blocking me from contacting support, and the device will not sync between the app and the website. I have tried 5, known/verified working chargers, and nothing happens. I left it charging for 48 hours to be completely sure, and nothing. No LEDs, no sound, nothing. What am I supposed to do if I can't get in contact with support?77Views0likes7CommentsLone Echo 2 Broken Main Menu
Hi all, I recently reinstalled Lone Echo 2 hoping to play it again, however upon booting the game up and making it past the accessibility setting screens no problem, I was placed in the main menu environment, but all the buttons were invisible. When I hover my selection cursor over the areas where the button should be, I can hear the little noise they make confirming that they're there, but they're entirely invisible. I'm playing the game over Meta Link using a Meta Quest 2, the same device I used in the past. The only difference is that I'm running it on a newly built PC. So my questions are: are there any known fixes to what I'm experiencing? and, does Lone Echo 2 have any known issues/incompatibilities with the newer gen hardware I'm using? (newer gen i.e. RTX 50 series cards, DDR5 Memory, or AM5 CPUs) Thanks209Views1like10CommentsNew Quest 3 locked on software update, impossible to fix.
Hi guys, I bought my first Quest 3 today. When I turned it on, it started a software update but it gets stuck there — the device keeps turning on and off without completing the update, and I can’t get past that screen. I haven’t even set up my Meta Horizon account yet, and since I didn’t purchase my Quest 3 through the official Meta store, when I try to enter my device’s serial number on the website it gives me an error. I tried doing the sideload update (the only fix I found on the internet) by holding the volume down and power buttons on the Quest 3. But when I select my device in the browser, I get a message saying: “your device is not supported, please try reconnecting your devices.” Weird cause both my PC and Chrome are detecting it as Quest 3. I also tried disabling adblock, deleting caché and cookies, incognito mode, other browsers, other PCs, other cables, connecting it on different times, etc. There is not a single thing I haven't tried. (Every single one of these attempts were done while having 50% battery. There’s nothing else I can do, literally — I’ve already tried factory reset several times as well. Do I need to return my device? I'm submitting this post so support can help me. I'm quite desperate, I don't see my issue anywhere on google and I spoke to support via Whatsapp and everything they told me to try, I already had.721Views0likes3CommentsA hotfix that resets the Quest 3 bootloader will help many people.
encountered a problem where the bootloader on my Quest 3 became damaged and unusable. It's now completely unsigned and won't even allow the system to boot. I'm begging the Meta developers to create an executable module that, when connected via ADB, would allow for updating not only the system but also the bootloader itself. This will help many people experiencing gray screens and other issues. And they won't have to replace the devices that are experiencing the problem; instead, they'll be able to resolve it themselves, with the help of tech support!37Views0likes1CommentVR Air Bridge not working
