Quest 3 — Still no PC audio when using Link via USB-C (2025)
Hi everyone, I am reopening this issue because it still happens in 2025. My Quest 3 loses all PC audio when using Link cable. Windows shows “Oculus Virtual Audio Device” and the audio meter moves, but there is no sound in the headset. Cable has been tested by the app and works at full speed. If I use the “Repair” option in the Meta/Oculus PC app, the audio works again. But after a few days, the problem returns and I have to run Repair again. This happens almost every week. This makes the headset annoying to use because repairing the app takes several minutes and should not be necessary for basic audio output. Why this is a problem: -Repairing the app every time: takes several minutes -closes services and restarts the PC app -sometimes resets parts of the configuration -shouldn’t be necessary for such a basic feature What I already checked: -Oculus Virtual Audio Device set as default in Windows -Volume and sound device settings are correct -Good USB 3 cable and port -Quest audio works fine in standalone mode -Windows 11 fully updated -Meta PC app fully updated What I am looking for: Are other users still experiencing this? Does anyone know what keeps breaking the audio driver? Is there a permanent fix that avoids repairing the app constantly? Meta support: when will this known issue be solved??? Thanks in advance for any help or new information.190Views2likes6CommentsQuest 2 Controller issues with tracking
I've been having issues with my left quest 2 controller, when moving the controller, it moves up, down, left and right, but it wont move forwards or backwards. I found that when holding the controller sideways to the right, or even upside down, it does track the profundity of the controller, but when it's sideways to the left or even just the standard upright position, it wont. Another thing that seems to be part of the issue, is that when i try show the left controller to the rightside tracking cameras of the headset, it does track the movement flawlessly. So it seems to be a problem with the leftside tracking cameras of the quest 2 headset, and some sort of axis issue with the controller sensor maybe? Anyway, i unpaired and paired the controllers, i cleaned the tracking cameras on the headset with microfiber, i reset the whole system, i changed batteries and had the controller without a battery for about a minute, but none of that worked and im getting a bit frustrated with all of it. Can anyone help me with this issue?119Views0likes5CommentsOculus/Meta Quest Setup Help
I recently got a Oculus Quest 1 from a friend, but he didn't reset it, so I did. However, now I am stuck since it wants me to enter a 5-digit pairing code into to the "Oculus App". Oculus App doesn't exist anymore and the (now) Meta Horizon doesn't have a way to insert that code. I also have the Meta Link, which recognizes the OQ1, but there is nothing I can do from this side and the OQ1 refuses to do anything else before I can enter that 5-digit code. No "maybe later" or "X" to skip. Is there a way to go around this issue? I would be very happy if someone can help me out with that :C53Views0likes0CommentsMeta quest 2 saved internet but never connects

As said, air link randomly stopped working. It started by having the button unavailable one day. I restarted my quest and pc, same thing. I unpaired and tried pairing again, when I hit pair I don't get a code. It detects it fine, paired to my phone fine, but refuses to work with air link to give a code. I tried turning off my firewall, factory reset, deleting the pc oculus app, and several other things, but nothing works. Edit: For anyone unable to get a pairing code like this or to connect (not detect, still detects pc) this solves it. Its hard to find this solution onlineSolved45KViews6likes57Comments
