[Early Access] Wayfarer 016D Total Speaker Failure - Cannot Continue Testing
Hi Early Access team, I’m currently enrolled in Early Access for Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarer 016D. Screenshot attached showing active status as of June 2, 2026. My Early Access test unit [...] experienced total speaker failure in June 2026, ~18 months after purchase. Meta View app shows permanent “Speakers aren’t working” error. Screenshot attached. This disables: - Music playback - Phone calls - Alerts - Voice commands / “Hey Meta” I cannot test hands-free features like "Conversation focus" or Meta AI prompts that I’m enrolled to test as part of Early Access. Troubleshooting completed: 1. Factory reset via Meta View 2. Firmware reflash 3. Re-pair to new phone 4. Case reset Issue persists. This is a hardware failure, not software. Meta Support denied warranty service due to 18 month age. There is no out-of-warranty repair program. This speaker failure is a known Gen 1 defect documented by multiple Early Access users. Meta redesigned the speakers in Gen 2 to address this. As an active Early Access tester, I can no longer provide feedback or test features with failed hardware. Requesting escalation from the Early Access team. Can the team provide a replacement with Ray-Ban Meta G2 so I can continue participating in the program? Attachments: 1. [...] receipt [...] 2. Meta View error “Speakers aren’t working” 3. Early Access enrollment screenshot for Wayfarer 016D Thanks, Norm77Views0likes2CommentsA way to retry Autocapture (Oakley Meta Vanguard)
Was wondering if anyone knows a way to retry an attempted auto edit of a bunch of clips that were taken via Autocapture. I ran a 10k recently, and all of the clips were imported, but the auto-edit failed and some clips didn't fully get processed (still have the raw fisheye look to them). Before the error was dismissed, I think it read something like "error with cloud import". (I have cloud backups on) Is there any known way to "redo" the import or attempt to re-edit the clips? Now I'm just stuck with a handful of full-processed, non figheye'd clips in a sea of raw captures that aren't usable. Thanks!23Views0likes0Comments[HELP] Can't reconnect Spotify on Meta Ray-Ban
[HELP] Can't reconnect Spotify on Meta Ray-Ban after factory reset – Connect button doesn't open Spotify auth screen Hi, I'm having an issue reconnecting Spotify to my Meta Ray-Ban after a factory reset. Here's the full timeline: **Timeline:** 1. **First setup** – Connected Spotify successfully, everything worked fine 2. **Factory reset** – Lent the glasses to my sister after resetting 3. **Factory reset again** – Got the glasses back and did another factory reset for my own use. Now Spotify no longer works **Current symptoms:** - When I say "Play music on Spotify," the glasses respond: "I can't do that on your glasses" - In the Meta AI app, when I tap "Connect Spotify", it does NOT redirect to the Spotify authentication screen at all (it did redirect during the very first setup) - Despite no auth screen appearing, the app shows Spotify as "Connected" immediately after tapping the button — as if the connection succeeded, but it clearly hasn't - The connection simply does nothing — no OAuth screen, no error message **What I've tried:** - Disconnected Spotify from Meta AI app (Device settings → Connected apps) - Disconnected Spotify from Instagram (Settings → Apps and media) - Revoked all Meta/Instagram access at https://www.spotify.com/account/apps/ - Cleared Spotify cache on iPhone - Logged out and back into Spotify **My setup:** - Meta Ray-Ban (Gen 2) - iPhone - Spotify Premium The fact that the app shows "Connected" without even opening the auth screen suggests a broken/cached connection state is stuck somewhere on Meta's backend. Has anyone experienced this after a factory reset? Any fix appreciated.31Views0likes0CommentsMic issues on Meta Ray-ban Display
Hi! I have been using it daily since October and I love the day to day with it on my updated Android. This morning I ran into a problem: the microphone on my glasses stopped working on my phone. My main case of wearing glasses is still using them as a headset for calls and sending voice messages. It is updated to the last version available. I've tried factory restoration (also unpair and re-pair) and nothing. I already had a first generation with a very similar problem, but there it was possible to remedy the problem by activating an option in the app settings. However, we do not have that option here. Anyone else with this problem and/or solution?407Views1like10CommentsOakley Vanguard's Microphone not working since last software update
Happening to me now, 6 months old and used maybe 10 times. I have done everything the terrible Meta support pages suggest. Un-paired and re-paired. Restored to factory Cleared the speaker. Uninstalled and re-installed the software on my phone. Release version 124 and since then the glasses dont respond to Hey Meta or OK Meta and nobody can here me if i answer a call or try and respond to a WhatsApp message. Strangely though if i want to use the translate function that works just fine, go figure. I have removed all app connections that i had previously setup, tried in English UK and English USA langauges, nothing works to get the glasses to hear the Hey Meta or OK Meta voice prompts.154Views0likes5CommentsMeta Ray Ban Wayfarer won’t connect to instagram

Hi all, this is only my second time using my Vanguards and the microphone isn’t working so I can’t use the ‘Hey Meta’ function. I've done absolutely everything that is asked. Unpair. Restarts. Toggle off. Toggle on. Nothing has worked. Does anyone have any advice?500Views1like14CommentsMeta glasses audio recording not working
Hello, I have a pair of meta glasses that I have been using for a couple of months now. I recently recorded a video of me at an ATM and during the video my glasses seem to have a muffled static during the video (I was going to attach the 25 second video but I cannot). Unfortunately, the beginning of this video is the last time I’ve had adequate and working audio recording. I would love any assistance here if possible, thank you. Note that I have already used the hold capture button feature to clear any moisture and also factory reset the glasses.41Views0likes0CommentsAnyway to delete photo/video in a group from Meta Ray-Ban Display?
It seems Meta Ray-Ban Display won't delete photos and videos I took after importing them into my phone like the other non-display models do. I can still see the media in the Photos app of the glasses themselves. I need to delete them one by one in the glasses, which takes a lot of time and effort. Is there any way to empty the space with just a few clicks or delete them in a selected group? If not, can the Meta team add this feature in the future software update?1.2KViews1like15Comments
