Cannot Get My Quest 2 to Link to My Asus ROG Strix G15 Laptop
I just bought this Quest used and I've spent a whole 3 hours trying to get this to work but I just can't. I've been having a weird string of issues. It will not connect via link cable (though I don't have an actual link cable but just a regular 10 ft type c to type c cable, so that could be my issue on that part) though when I plugged it into my computer, I accidentally clicked "import images" when the command pops up, so now whenever I try to plug it in, it immediately opens up the pictures app on my laptop. Then, I got airlink to work once, but it was extremely bugged and I had to restart my oculus because it ended up freezing, and it wouldn't connect again. Then I got a red pop up in the desktop app that said my PCs hardware was incompatible, but I know for a fact it was because I checked the compatibility page, so I closed the app and reopened it and that pop up was gone. I am honestly stumped at this point, My Quest 2 is updated to the newest software, and my laptop is fully updated, all drivers are updated as far as I'm aware, I went through what I thought the culprits could be. My laptop specs are: Intel core i7 16 GB RAM Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 (I know 2050 is incompatible, but it didn't say anything about 2060 being incompatible) Currently running Windows 11 If anyone has some explanations, please let me know, I'd love to know what I'm doing wrong!61Views0likes0CommentsUnveiling the Best i7 Processor Laptops: A Performance and Features Showcase

Hi, I'm about to get a laptop to both demo and develop VR content. As a general rule I can see that maxing out most specs will make sense- the big thing I'm trying to decide though is whether to get a system with one or two GeForce GTX 1080 graphics cards. I want it to work well right now but also be somewhat futureproof- it would cost more and I'm willing to make the investment if it will lead to a substantial gain but not if it won't. Any advice much appreciated.Solved2.7KViews0likes7CommentsWill Simple Apartment Modelling Run on A Laptop with Oculus?
Hello, I am getting into Oculus development and I am wondering what kind of hardware you would need to run simple Apartment models from Unity (assuming the laptop has 3 USB 3.0 and 1 USB 2.0). Basically I need a laptop for testing my VR games im making in Unity, which are not that complex (30 000 poly max). I don't want to build an expensive PC because I dont need to actually play any real games in VR, and I don't need all the extra hardware just for low poly Unity stuff; just my developed ones. Ps: I just came from developing for GearVR but I grew unhappy with the quality (phones suck for VR right now) and i'm trying to move into Oculus developing without a huge gaming rig.877Views0likes3Commentsunity 5.4 and oculus dk2 0.8 runtime DON'T WORK
