Meta Link freezes after a few seconds
After installing latest Meta Horizon Windows app update (85.0.0.239.552), the display inside headset freezes (sometimes goes black, similar to when proximity sensor kicks in, but while still wearing VR headset) after a few seconds after establishing cabled link (official 5m cable). Have to restart PC and re-establish Link to get it to work again, but then same happens after a few seconds. Can still hear audio inside headset, and when using games it seems to do head tracking (monitor screen updates, but not inside headset). This also happens inside the Meta Link view (grey environment with grid floor and ceiling inside VR headset after establishing link). Firmware in VR headset is also on latest version, This happened after updating Meta Horizon Windows app on 3rd/4th March. Before this it was working perfect. Have tested this on 4 different PC's, with 3 different Meta Quest 3 headsets and one Quest Pro, with same result. Hardware on test PC's: Windows 11, different i9 processors (13th/14th gen, Intel Core Ultra 9), RTX 5090 laptop, RTX 5070 Ti Desktop, RTX 4090 desktop. 64GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce Graphics Drivers 595.71 WHQL driver + latest Windows updates
Meta Quest Link Update: Link Launch Issue Resolved
Hi everyone, We recently identified an issue with Meta Quest Link unable to launch which caused users to be stuck in the app launch loading screen. We’ve now released an update that should resolve this problem. What’s changed: The main issue is fixed, and you should be able to use Meta Quest Link as expected. Please note: For now, you won’t be able to see your hands in Dash. However, raycasts are visible, and you should be able to interact with games and other content as usual. meta horizon link/ quest 2 / new update connecting error
so there was new update on quest 2 and now when i try to connect to my pc it says charging cabel detected when i am using the cable i been using for so long. its good cable. good connection and everything. i dont this there is fix but can somone send support to meta horizon link. i need to fix this, please try to help and tell me if its happening to you guys tho
I cannot sign into my account on my computer
I am trying to log into my meta account on my computer but it says the email or password is incorrect, however the email and password is correct, I have reset both several times, but it still says they are incorrect. I deleted the app and reinstalled it, but that didn't work, and I did the forgot password thing numerous times, but that is not working either. Please help if you can.
Horizon Link Update Error
When I launch meta horizon link on my pc, it tells me that I don't have enough storage for the app that I need 12.69 GBs of storage but I have 30 GBs free on my computer. I have no idea if this is causing the error but when I launch pcvr on the meta quest it tells me critical error that I need to update the app but there is no update. It allows me to play but I'm assuming that this is what is causing the lag, I just don't know how get the app the update. Let me know if you know how to fix or have a question that I need to answer.
Metas official link cable labelled as USB 2
i have been struggling with an issue with my connection using link the connection shows a weak USB 2 even though i use the official meta cable and my pc is capable of supporting USB 3. I have tried to change the positioning of the cable into different UCB 3 cable ports. in addition i have restarted the USB 3 Drivers, the pc, the quest 3 and the meta link app . i am at a dead end and don't know how i could improve the connection. please if you know what could be the issue i could use the pointers or even hands on support "wink wink"
